Walked to the local shop last night around 10:30pm - it was like an early December evening...

 

It's worse than 2012/2013 when Winter stretched into mid-April...

 

For me, my project 'Fuck off for Six Months of the Year'* is definitely going to get brought forward by five years if this carries on

It's fucking me up somewhat. Some folk's grass is doing well, others is still in bed. Some lawns are still sopping.

I think you said a while ago that we'd have a good summer, I'm still in agreement, but it had better hurry up.

Currently having a tasty thunder storm and the hailstones have hurried my veggy plants. Twats.

Mowed the lawn last week in a t shirt, inch of snow on the lawn today, crazy weather in Bolton.It takes me back to 1979 and the snowstorm on May 1 at the Bolton v Liverpool match.

Drainage contractors have just abandoned the job on the new football pitches at Bobsy.

 

After 12 months of letting the grass get established three tractors, 2 trailers and a dumper have pretty much turned it back into a quagmire yesterday and this morning!

I spent winter digging out 3 tonnes of clay and replacing it with gravel and proper soil. My drainage pipe is doing a sterling job and my 350 litre water butt filling up nicely. Tally Ho.

Saw a piece on SSN just a few weeks ago. It was from the place where England were going to train for the Euros. Contractors were laying out the soil to create a pitch. Kinell around four months to the tournament not even structured let alone seeded. They must have some special weather over there, might be worth migrating!
