My golf is a front wheel drive but i have to say it's wank in ice and snow compared to my old beetle.

From what I've picked up on here the Beetle doesn't like warm temperatures

A bit longer from Marple to Manc - an hour rather than 45-50 mins

 

Coming back did it in under 40 mins as nobody else seemed to be bothering

 

Nay probs but I drove past a lot of abandoned motors up this end

Audis are all front wheel drive or 4x4 mate. Chaos yesterday morning at Doffcocker roundabout yesterday morning as folk started to go up COR towards Horwich then thought better of it. No way I was attempting it, the last place I would want to leave my car is Johnson Fold, it is like having Adam Johnson baby sitting.

There was a Canada goose walking around the front gardens in the next street last week.

Started to entice it back towards the lodge using warby's finest as bait. A dog came out of a front door and it fucked off back again so I gave up.

Don't know what this means weather-wise

Its the first real show of Spring here today. Had a wonderful afternoon at a friends house. Had a Pot of Tea on the go, on his wood burner, and enjoyed listening to the birds singing in the garden through the open window. Next doors appeared to be eccentric, I noticed in their garden an array of Gnomes etc. including a stone frog playing a guitar and a sort of concrete rabbit pushing a wheelbarrow. Peaceful place though, think I will pour another Pot of Tea.
