Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Well it ain't cold even if sun ain't shining. Just done a sizable walk, over winter hill and to Entwistle then back. Bit of drizzley mist but didn't half have a sweat on over the moors.

Aye. Humid as owt today.

Forecast looks OK for the weekend

Off to the Fylde on Saturday for a bike ride. Looking at the forecasted wind direction looks like it will be Lytham to Rossall and back again

@gonzo this will obviously involve a refuel stop at Bispham and Cleveleys Kitchen for fish or steak pudding and chips. Any idea how they are currently operating?

Global warming, my arse

They're whingeing here because it's 17 degrees, bright and sunny for 3 days. We are in the depths of winter. WTF do they expect?

Bolton lads I know would have their shirts off in this weather including my old man.

That happens in Spain too. I went with MrsD to Pineda de Mar (1970s package holiday type area) and it was 18° but sunny. Brits is shorts and t-shirts, Catalunians in padded coats, gloves and scarfs.

Our first package holiday was to Pineda, the Taurus Park Hotel, age 12.

Remember getting sloshed in sangria and playing crazy golf.

When pilots could have a stiff one and still fly.

My phone says “feels like 12”

Went for a walk and it felt like it went from Winter to Summer then back again. It's what I like about the weather in this country.

Yep, M6/M61 blocked up Northbound, wipers full on.

All going to enjoy a weekend away while getting piss wet through.

Went sailing on the Menai straits yesterday round Puffin Island, light breeze, beautiful weather.

Youre all in the wrong places.

My mower is starting to have difficulty with the wet grass now.

Supposedly some dry days to come.

Aye

Sailed out of Conwy, which is a beautiful seas side town. That whole area is stunning but the locals can be the biggest shower of cunts this side of the ISIS annual conference.

Both my brothers were in the RAF and both stationed at Valley at different times. Their opinion of the locals is remarkably similar.

I have a mate who moved to Deganwy when his Welsh wife got a job at Llandudno Halifax Bank as a bilingual bank manager.

Went for a walk down Millionaire’s Row (Nev Southall residence, etc.) and as I was walking with my mate, MrsD was walking with his wife. Well, she was Welsh but had a fairly Manc accent so her Welshness went over wifey’s head.

MrsD - “How come all these Welsh folk start talking in Welsh whenever an English person walks in the shop?”

We never got invited back?
