March 28, 201214 yr No pratley No muamba Ream in the centre would mean knight back in and I'm not convinced about either in those positions really Sean Davis? If he's playing ok at wherever he is then get him in there. or risk 442?
March 28, 201214 yr Couldn't agree more. Do not want to see Knight sneak back into the back 4. Sean Davis played 2 games at Bristol City and not a clue how he has played in these but if it was at least ok I would be chucking him back in. I did hear somewhere he is injured again. That being the case I would move Sam Ricketts to centre back, Alonso at left back and Ream in midfield.
March 28, 201214 yr I'd try to keep knight out of the team as possible. Throw ream into the midfield mix. i have a feeling OC will look at boyata at CB with wheater.
March 28, 201214 yr Watched Davis on Sky when he came on against Cardiff and he looked a yard off the pace to me
March 28, 201214 yr Non of these options sounds particularly appealing, but we're knocked for members now. Hate to say it, but 442 might be our only option....!
March 28, 201214 yr I would contemplate playing either Ryo, Eagles or Sordell behind N'Gog - or even throw Vela in to see what he can do. Seen him a few times for the reserves and looks good there, maybe too early for him yet though
March 28, 201214 yr if we're having a lightweight ion attacking midfield, tuncay is easily our best option anyway, pratleys cut his leg hasn't he?
March 28, 201214 yr No pratley No muamba With no Muamba, we desperately need a defensive midfielder on the pitch, especially when we are playing Eagles who always seems to run away from the man with the ball. Reo Coker had to do all the defensive bit last night and his game suffers. I would play either Vela or Connolly who can both tackle. Alonso had a nightmare last night. Who has been teaching him positioning? There was also hardly any defensive collaboration between him and Eagles in front. We know that the threat was coming from there.
March 28, 201214 yr Steinsson Wheater Ricketts Alonso Ryo NRC Ream M.Davies Petrov ------ Steinsson Wheater Ream Ricketts Ryo NRC M.Davies Petrov ---- DO NOT PLAY KNIGHT! even 4-4-2 sounds better and I'm not sure on Ream in midfield, it'd have to be Ricketts or Boyata if Ream moves position. March 28, 201214 yr I'd prefer the 1st one you said Didds Me too. The midfield has a better balance with Reo coker and Ream to break up play and Mavies, Petrov and Ryo doing the attacking.
March 28, 201214 yr Is Gavin McCann still on the books? Also, this lad from Rangers, did he get cleared to play this season?
March 28, 201214 yr Wylde's not got clearance yet. (Rangers can't afford the stamps) Edited March 28, 201214 yr by Traf
March 28, 201214 yr Is Gavin McCann still on the books? Also, this lad from Rangers, did he get cleared to play this season? couple of days ago we were still awaiting clearance from Fifa.
March 28, 201214 yr http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php Chungy return date 15th April......
March 28, 201214 yr Wasn't impressed with Ream in midfield last night but we were all over the place. I would try one of the reserves with NRC and Mark Davies
March 28, 201214 yr Chucking reserves into a relegation dogfight is not what we need right now Its a risk whoever he plays IMO; hopefully I am wrong and he plays Ream and he does OK
March 28, 201214 yr Ream played in midfield in the City game (sure it was City and not Chelsea) and the game pretty much passed him by. Last night was very similar
March 28, 201214 yr Bogdan, Steino, Wheater, Ream or Boyata, Ricketts, Ryo, NRC, Mark Davies, Tuncay, Petrov, Ngog, Or Replace Tuncay with Klasnic
March 28, 201214 yr 4-4-2 is definatley not the answer. I will tell you that now. 3 of the midfield 4 being Mavies, Miyagi and Petrov is suicide.
