Kevin Davies in midfield, seriously?!?

 

You need far more than just body size and presence, he's far too slow and can't pass well. He'll be more of a liability and they'll be a very good chance of seeing more fouls from him.

Pratleys been playing pretty high up the field, just off the front man. Maybe Ngog could do that role and play behind Klasnic or vice versa?

 

I don't recall seeing them play much together earlier in the season though and admit now is not the time in the season for experimenting but then again there's not that many options right now.

 

Pratley is no great loss as someone once stated on here a pile of sticks in the middle of the park would do more.

Could just play the wigin formation 3 CB in ricketts, wheater, ream and wingbacks of some sort

All jokin aside, it wouldnt surprise me to see SKD in midfield, coyles done it plenty of times, tuncay n elmander are victims of that

I would give tuncay a run behind Ngog with Mark Davies Reo Coker the other 2 midfielders in the centre, mark Davies should play a more restrained role similar to what Scholes does for Man U, Coker sits in front of the back 4 which should be left alone as I think there developing a good understanding and should not be broken up if at all possible.

I think he will go 4-4-2 with Ngog and Klasnic, Ream didn't work at City or Spurs and Alonso was shocking on Tuesday so i'd definitely keep Ricketts at left back

 

Difficult one but for me i'd keep the 4-5-1 and give Ream another go in Midfield with the hope that he does much better against the weaker attack that Wolves have compared to City and Spurs. Boyatta and Wheater at CB

looks a bit crowded on the left wing but i'll go with though (though gritted teeth)

I count Holden, Muamba, Pratley and Davis - that's 4 off the top of my head in the central positions alone. Are you honestly saying we should have 8 or more first-team central midfielders on our books? I'm glad you're not the manager.

What's with people saying Connelly in midfield. Isn't this guy a centre back who hasn't been near the first team? Not the time for blooding youngsters in a dogfight against a team that need to win

It's Ream in midfield with Wheater and Boyata at the back for me, but I don't like it very much.
