Mounts Kipper Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Blackburn don't have much chance of staying up, hope they win tonight though, Wigan could get beat last game v wolves. It puts 2 in the mix with us we still have to win and hope though. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Our chances are not good but that would be the survival day that would be like winning the lottery. We win QPR lose (as they will do) but wigan go down as Wolves beat them after Rovers had also won their last game and also gone down on goal difference Quote
Rembrandt Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Bogdan Steinson wheater ream ricketts Chung yong Coker Davies Pratley Petrov NGog then replace with Davies Could that team get the win??? Are you counting Pratley as a defensive midfielder, Mounts, so Mavies can get forward ? If so, I think you might be deluding yourself. If not, then Pratley would be ineffective going forward and Mavies ineffective (yet again) further back in midfield. If this is the last win-or-bust show this season, then gamble. Vela to support NRC in midfield (if Alonso couldn't do that), freeing up Mavies. Maybe Sordell up front as a surprise package. We've blown just about every practise 'win-or-bust' game this season with our tried & tested players. Taking a gamble can't be any worse than 'playing safe'. Quote

I would play Davies more advanced than Pratley but not sure Coyle sees Pratley in that role, with 5 in midfield I would not mind risking Vela, can't comment in Sordell as never seen him play. Quote

Neither have I seen Sordell play. But I've seen N'gog, SKD and Klasnic more than enough this season; and so have Stoke, I bet. Win-or-bust game. Has the club collectively got the bottle for it like the fans have. Quote
Burndens Bogs Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Bogdan Steinson wheater ream ricketts Chung yong Coker Davies Pratley Petrov NGog then replace with Davies Could that team get the win??? No place for Chris Seagulls? Mom Yesterday for me (if i had to choose one) - and he also looks the man most likely to open up a defence. He'd be one of the first names on the team sheet for me at Stoke. Quote

Agree with that; this is not a game for bringing in a player who hasn't been fit all season ------- but neither was yesterday I would go with Burnden Bogs line up with Eagles for Chungy but....... but there are many injury doubts. Maybe play SKD from the start rather than Ngog Edited May 7, 2012 by RUREADY2ROLL Quote
ROSSENDALEWHITE Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I feel more confident of us going there for a win than going there to try and get a draw! Quote
HomerJay Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Cyl is miles away from fitness Should never have come on yesterday Quote
Burndens Bogs Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Boggo Steinsson Wheater Ream Ricketts Cheung Lee Eagles NRC Mavies Petrov SKD We'll rip 'em a new ringpiece with this side. Quote
Burndens Bogs Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Steinsson, Wheater & CYL fit enough? it's the last game so just pump 'em full of drugs..........oh hang on a minute though. Quote
Rembrandt Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 it's the last game so just pump 'em full of drugs..........oh hang on a minute though. From the number of injuries and set-backs they've had at the Reebok, they'd probably pick up the wrong syringes and give tham all a sedative. Quote

I thought he was shite His airy fairy effort at a none tackle led to their 2nd goal before it was played down the line His shoot from nowhere act wore thin very quickly yesterday too and his decision making in general was poor. That said i'd start him next week And fuck the fanny off the day after, whatever division we're in; the soft shit Quote

jules_darby Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I thought Petrov was by far our most dangerous player Quote
HomerJay Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Eagles is generally a championship player but believes in his own ability, gives 100% and rarely goes missing He is also our most likely threat of a goal currently, which isn't saying much tbf So one of the 1st names down for me next week And in the championship, I'd be happy to keep him Stay up and he can scrub the bogs Quote
tylswhite Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I thought Petrov was by far our most dangerous player Agreed. Been the same for about the last 10 matches at least imo. Quote
Spider Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I thought Petrov was by far our most dangerous player Yep West Brom shit theirselves whenever he went at them. If there is hope for next week, it's him. That said, it now looks likely that zat knight will play so I'll be dusting out my promotion songbook as planned. Quote
no balls Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) Yep If there is hope for next week, it's him. I've heard he's an injury doubt too. Sorry. Edited May 7, 2012 by no balls Quote
Spider Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I've heard he's an injury doubt too. Sorry. I'm not even surprised anymore. I think if me and you turn up without tickets next week, we should still get in if we take our boots. Quote

At the very least, a position on the bench as part of the backroom staff. You bring your iPad, I'll bring a sponge, we can be the fitness and analysis coaches. Quote
