bwfc2003 Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 not one trusted in the Prem. bought for the Championship, why else would you pay that money for someone to sit on a chair for 90 minutes. With OC - who knows?? Quote

Casino Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Mark Davies kept the ball better than any other player in our squad last season. He wins his fair share of tackles. He carries the ball better than anyone else in the squad. Yes, he can switch off defensively on occasion, and he's obviously not great in the air. If he's shit, I don't know where all the optimism about next season has come from. spot on Quote
Didledee Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 (edited) What a load of bollocks. You really are numb as a piss stone at times diddles. So why did we sign him in January if he just had a few brief sub roles? who's to say he'll start games next season with N'Gog and SKD here and if he does start, why has it taken relegation for him to get a game, or would he be starting games in the Prem if we'd have stayed up. Did we only buy him at that time so others wouldn't? Edited June 29, 2012 by Didledee Quote

Plus he is our only player who can run into the area and fall over to get us a penalty who seemed our best attacking ploy at the end of the season. Quote
Casino Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 maybe we did only sign him cos cardiff were sniffing maybe coyle felt he was behind davies, ngog and klasnic we all knew klasnic was off, whether we stayed up or dropped i'd have played sordell, but coyle thought the other 3 better options he picked knight over wheater for half a season too, so nowt surprises me Quote

Did we only buy him at that time so others wouldn't? dids - a poser for you do you think the money spent on sordell could have been spent on a ready to play striker in the prem who may, just may have kept Bolton in the premiership ? coyle cost us promotion with his tunnel vision. he's a cunt, with no cunting idea, and cunting kids Quote

Hasn't OC said in the press that he would have played him but the timing and pressure situations didn't suit a new player with no prem experience... Quote
miamiwhite Posted June 30, 2012 Author Posted June 30, 2012 paul scharner meant to be on our radar now. good old head for the battle ahead. he'd be a decent player in that league.. got to keep hold of chungy but IMO he'll be following Davies out the door Quote
HomerJay Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Workmen in the middle, creativity on the wings If this is what coyle is going for, I actually agree with him for a change Although I do believe its a simple and out dating way of playing Quote
Guest Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Chungys agent was told that Bolton wont sell him and that LCY needs to get his head down and play in the championship. The only player we might sell is Mark Davies and those that know some of the behind the scenes stuff would know why. He didn't produce last season. Quote

anewman Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Apparently, coming from an itk source coyle has been studying Spain and this season will play with no striker whatsoever. we played with no striker last season Quote

miamiwhite Posted July 1, 2012 Author Posted July 1, 2012 was talking to some Boro mates last night, how times have changed for them. instead of the huge names they used to attract they're now resigned to getting a hard-on over the thought of signing the likes of nicky maynard on a season long loan. an interesting point came out of the conversation. When the Rhys Williams saga dragged on,he actually wanted to join Bolton and apparently still does, but the board at Boro want silly money. Could this be the young CB everyone is talking about ? I hope so,certainly a very good player Quote

Guest Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Without going into details, Coyle non too impressed with Davies' attitude and output on the pitch. I suspect neither side would be against a move. Imagine all the Liverpool links are coming from Davies agent to stir up interest somewhere else. Quote
