Is he? He's played around 950 Premier League minutes - I'm going to guess you haven't a clue how good he is.

 

950 minutes, some of his appearances being as sub, equates to about 15 games. Considering Chelsea's midfield, he's 20, and it was his first season in the prem, that is a decent number of games.

 

Barca also have first refusal on him, a clause which is there because they obviously see some potential.

 

the games i have seen him play, he looks a premiership player.

Agree on the first. If Coyle plays 4-4-2 with 2 wingers the 2 in central midfield will be knackered by Christmas.

We're not far off having a team for league games and one for cup games. You'd like to think we can't have the same amount of bad luck with injuries that we had last season.
