I know it's a sad state of affairs but you have to accept eagles is one of our better players.

How has Chris Eagles not been one of our better players THIS season?

 

I know exactly what people mean when they say sell him and reinvest, all that worries me is if we sell him we wont replace him with any better!

You talking about Petrov? Eagles is under rated by many on here. Goals scored and assists he has been our best player this season. Why does he get slagged of so much? Because he doesn't tackle (let's just ignore what he can do), effeminate, wears an Alice band and used to play for the filth. Of all the problems we have I wouldn't count Eagles as a major one. Some in here talk about ripping up this division, Eagles is the only one who has remotely looked like he could do that up until now, hopefully Chungy is on his way back too.

That he regularly makes the wrong choice pisses a few folk off. He's definately not one for bothering with team-mate awareness; or opponent awareness for that matter. Often opting to shoot through 5 defenders rather than passing the ball to an unmarked team mate. He managed it three or four times against Leeds. Other games he'll get to the 6 yard box and look to square it when a shot is most definately on.

 

Alice bands and ManU history don't bother me one bit. Dodging out of tackles does piss me off a bit.

Sell all of the rubbish off and stick with the youth. We surely can't get any worse

I'd imagine if we played our youth team for the rest of the season things could and certainly would get worse ... such as Tranmere being a division higher than us next season.
