I was watching the Brighton V Watford match on Sky Saturday evening; I could have sworn the commentator said Watford were starting with 6 loanees on the pitch and more on the bench (mainly Udinese & Granada ?). Their squad is sure full of foreign names. I might have mis-heard. Anyone know for sure ?

Burnley weren't ecstatic when they signed a former brickie from Swindon. There are players out there in the lower leagues or surplus to requirements in Prem (would Chris Wood have been an exciting signing pre season?) who surely will be better than the over paid, smug ,complacent fuckers we have at the moment. I know what you mean though, some of our lot will immediately dismiss anybody they haven't heard of or 'rejects' from other clubs so come on Dougie/Lennie show us what you can do and let's have some players eager to prove themselves who won't take the shirt for granted and will cheer us all up a bit
