Garrp Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Just gone through his Palace signings. Two fo them were bought from the Turkish league, which im guessing means hes(or his men) are(or were) watching the Turkish league. Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 what is that 'type' Cheap, hungry and coachable players that can adopt his principles it would seem to me. I don't recall him being particularly big on bringing in older loan or signings from prem clubs, though i could be wrong. Though obviously that might have been just because Palace's owners didn't allow that-i wouldn't know. I'm not going to knock his Palace team and signings though as they at least seem to fit a style and plan. Quote

superkev Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 We need someone that's going to go in where it hurts and scrap for everything. More bite is needed not fannies who back out of challenges that are 70-30 in their favour Quote

He also seems to pick up players from other championship or league one clubs as well. Murray came from Brighton and I was surprised to see Bolasie only moved from Bristol City this year. Im clinging to the hope this means he can get something out of Sordell, especially if Sordell hears good stuff about Dougie from Zaha. Quote

Looks like Danny Graham is available, wonder if Dougie would be interested in linking him up with Marv. Quote
darrener Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 The lad wood who scored 11 in 19 for millwall is joining leicester for 1 million. Bargain imo Quote

jagermoot Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 If DF liked to play some of his prospects when he was at palace, how long do you think it'll be before vela and riley start making appearences?! When they played last season, they looked good, could save us a few quid in the transfer market too Quote

superjohnmcginlay Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 (edited) Is Riley really good enough? I dunno I've not seen him enough 6 appearances in total and he's the best right back we've got? Edited December 29, 2012 by superjohnmcginlay Quote
Guest Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Is Riley really good enough? I dunno I've not seen him enough 6 appearances in total and he's the best right back we've got? Perhaps Ricketts is the best, but he is usually required elsewhere I would pick Riley over Mears I'd pick my nose over Mears Quote
Guest Blixa Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Is Riley really good enough? I dunno I've not seen him enough 6 appearances in total and he's the best right back we've got? If he was rated at all, he would have played by now. Is Vela actually fit? Fell off the radar after the last injury. Any of these u-18s built for proper footie yet? Quote

jagermoot Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Usually i get a bit nervous about who could be on their way out of the reebok, but this season im not arsed at all. I'm quite interested into who maybe coming in though. Quote
HoldensHairdo Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 craig dawson linked in the bolton toilet paper, worth a punt ? That's happening as it stands. Loan move - has six offers including Brum, Blackpool, burnley and us and prefers us. £3m being touted is laughed off by his agent though. Carlos Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I'm chucking in one from my scouting in Portugal. Nabil Ghilas from Moreirenense, brother of Khamil. 22 year old goal scorer, plenty of folk sniffing round, worth a punt. Ran his bollocks of against Benfica last night, and scored. Also, Ricardo Carvalho seeing out his contract but not playing at Madrid. Campo role? Quote
