Farrelli Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 A spearing or Andrews type player maybe? Not sure who we could get that would be any better tbf Fabrice muamba perhaps? It was the signing that never happened in the Summer and I think it has cost us. Holden/Muamba/NRC needed replacing and Andrews/Spearing are not quite cutting it. Hopefully DF will find someone who can in January. Quote
smithills_gent Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Muamba and NRC didn't quite cut it last season so I wouldn't say a relegation midfield needs replacing. If Muamba and NRC was our central midfield now as it was when we drew 1-1 at home to mighty Wolves last season we still wouldn't be as good as the Cardiffs of this world. We needed better players then for the midfield and we still do. Muamba/NRC would be plenty good enough this season. Muamba was woefully mis-managed last season. Quote
Moderators Zico Posted December 10, 2012 Moderators Posted December 10, 2012 our midfield when we beat everton? our midfield when we beat liverpool? annnnd the Wolves midfield was 4-4-2 them that beat Liverpool and Everton were 4-5-1 there was a pattern forming that all but one man could see within 10 mins of going 4-4-2 v Norwich it all went to shit again Quote
Moderators Casino Posted December 10, 2012 Moderators Posted December 10, 2012 4-4-2 had no bearing on norwich he put sordell on see what i'm saying Quote

Is he still at Manchester airport? Lazy story that - doesn't take into account a new manager who probably doesn't know who the hell he is. Quote
Kirk St Moritz Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Looks like we'll get to see Butterfield on a regular basis with Mark Davies being out for a few weeks. Quote

HR Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 (edited) Fabulous and insightful article written on Robbie Blake http://www.thestar.c...laugh-1-5216163 We should try and get him back Blake might not have seen as much of the action as he would have liked since joining Rovers in the summer, but he has still managed to keep his own spirits up and those of his team-mates. “It’s nice to have a bit of fun and it takes your mind off worrying about the game,” he told The Star Worth every penny, we should also try and get Kevin the Clown at Right back and Magic Mark up front. Guest Blixa Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 To be honest, you can't blame him for refusing to travel to Sunderland. Most sane people would do the same. Quote
