Muamba and NRC didn't quite cut it last season so I wouldn't say a relegation midfield needs replacing. If Muamba and NRC was our central midfield now as it was when we drew 1-1 at home to mighty Wolves last season we still wouldn't be as good as the Cardiffs of this world. We needed better players then for the midfield and we still do.

Muamba/NRC would be plenty good enough this season.

Muamba was woefully mis-managed last season.

our midfield when we beat everton?

our midfield when we beat liverpool?

annnnd

the Wolves midfield was 4-4-2

them that beat Liverpool and Everton were 4-5-1

there was a pattern forming that all but one man could see

within 10 mins of going 4-4-2 v Norwich it all went to shit again

4-4-2 had no bearing on norwich

he put sordell on

see what i'm saying

According to the mail we are back in for dirty Sanchez.....but surprise surprise Soton are favourites to sign this much travelled carpet bsgger, thank fook.

Bit harsh on me that

4-4-2 had no bearing on norwich

he put sordell on

see what i'm saying

I don't actually?

thought we were on about the strength of our midfield

was 0-0 and we were looking alright for a point - muamba off, davies on

sordell came on at 1-0 for NGog, was soon 2-0

so no, you lost me

Is he still at Manchester airport?

Lazy story that - doesn't take into account a new manager who probably doesn't know who the hell he is.

Looks like we'll get to see Butterfield on a regular basis with Mark Davies being out for a few weeks.

Butterfield's riding in the 3.00 Lingfield today against Gonzo's tip.

coyle decided it was sordells fault (it wasn't like but owen was a dick)

can't think of any other reason for his abuse of the lad

Fabulous and insightful article written on Robbie Blake

http://www.thestar.c...laugh-1-5216163

We should try and get him back

Blake might not have seen as much of the action as he would have liked since joining Rovers in the summer, but he has still managed to keep his own spirits up and those of his team-mates.

“It’s nice to have a bit of fun and it takes your mind off worrying about the game,” he told The Star

Worth every penny, we should also try and get Kevin the Clown at Right back and Magic Mark up front.

Danny Guthries fined two weeks wages by Reading for refusing to travel to Sunderland. Good shout for a loan punt?

To be honest, you can't blame him for refusing to travel to Sunderland. Most sane people would do the same.
