Big_Sharps Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Aye, at 31 he's a good five months younger. He's just about hit double figures twice in his entire league career. Let's break the bank. Who should we sign then? Quote
miamiwhite Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Wait till Miami start with his ITK YHIHF rumours.... not been near a footballer's house for a while but i can tell you that there's a fight in corrie at the nativity play in friday's episode(the one filmed when yours truly was lurking in the background) one of the battlers is gaarp's love rival Quote
Site Supporter HomerJay Posted December 16, 2012 Site Supporter Posted December 16, 2012 If we sign a striker, who's out? Considering 1 up top is preferred Skd is 1st choice Ngog will be played "when ever possible" We have a very capable u21 striker not even making the bench Quote

Whoever we get should be competing with Ngog because it's about time that we phased SKD out and used him as an impact sub only. Quote
Site Supporter HomerJay Posted December 16, 2012 Site Supporter Posted December 16, 2012 He will move elsewhere and get a goal every other game MMW Quote

Amazing to think a player of his quality, played for Bolton. Same goes for Youri, Jay-Jay etc... Quote

EyesRight Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Cardiff want Sordell but he would prefer to move to a London club. Almost certainly will be leaving in Jan, not sure if on loan or permanent. Quote
HR Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 We should target permanent deals for loan players performing well in this league already, Jerome Thomas and James Vaughan spring to mind. Quote

For whatever reasons, you get the feeling its not gonna work out for this lad. FWIW I think the homesick story is probably not the full story. At the same time can't be arsed defending him anymore. Hopfully a loan to the glorious south will bump his goals up and we can recoup back some of the outlay! Quote
superkev Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Batistuta and Edmundo. Drogba and Eto Quote

waffer cup 07 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I'd take £3m in a heartbeat Certaimly not back to what he was. Quote
Sweep Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 £6 million and he will be offskis. Not even close I wouldn't have thought. More likely around £2.5M or £3M I reckon Quote
enzo gambaro Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Plenty folk clearly don't agree but I reckon he's going in the right direction. I'd rather not lose him, and certainly not on the cheap. Quote
Site Supporter Ratwhite Posted December 20, 2012 Author Site Supporter Posted December 20, 2012 It's not Glen Campbell it's Glen Murray. Glaswegians fist fight for top scorer! http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/288952 Quote
Members DazBob Posted December 20, 2012 Members Posted December 20, 2012 Whilst I agree he's not a patch on what he was before his injury, I'd not sell for anything less than £5m. Who could we get for less than that who would be an improvement? Also, you'd have to hope that the more games he gets under his belt the better he'll become. If Chungy goes and Eagles then breaks a finger nail we'd be fucked. Quote
