Well I don't know the answer to the question but it certainly isn't DF. It is his job to galvanise, and motivate his players. We haven't had a new manager bounce, unless you call a bunch of draws 'galvanising'. Today was the worst performance I have ever seen. We couldn't control a ball, and a team this season promoted from league one, won every first and second ball, and put a man between the ball every time there was a long ball. I'm actually shocked at the lack of fight and skill, as I said, the worst performance, and I've seen some pre prem mediocrity.

 

All this talk of transfer windows, and own teams is utter horse shit. Fat boy, fergie, mourinho etc would sort this team out, without a doubt. This is the wrong manager at the wrong time.

I'm not being funny Chris Kirkland has always been branded a dodgy keeper and we hardly even tested him today, there's no creative mind its a case of hit it wide n then we lose it more often than that, on the whole the team played poor, as for Tyrone mears he is the worst player iv seen in his specific role of an attacking full back, n I hate him more than pratley now, he doesn't bomb it down wings, he can't tackle, and he passes it knight who hoofs it up the pitch when desperate! I agree with dougies postmatch comments n need championship proven players who want to play rather than these premier league stuck up lot who think there better than most teams n are not performing

That's the problem deane.. there's lots need shoveling out but who's gonna want them ? i can only think of mark davies thats wanted by anyone else. If we don't get rid of 4 or 5 then we won't be bringing many in either is my guess.. If we wouldn't/couldn't spend while in premier league i don't think we're gonna spend now either.. do you ?

To be honest no cunt would want them, i just want them out of the team because as senior players their attitude is the complete opposite we need for a backbone. I'm sure some of the development side would have equal amount of talent (or lack of) but at least they'd be hungry and eager to learn.

 

We have skilful players no doubt, but our no nonsense players don't do the no nonsense things.

Unfortunately ... for Dougie .... This is his squad .... he took the job.

 

He picks the team and decides how they play.

 

In january he may add 2 or 3 to freshen the squad .......... he may decide to introduce some fringe players... we might get wheater and holden back.

 

If he doesn't know his best team by now he never will - he has chopped and changed and some of his weekly selections baffle me.

 

also I believe the players need to stand up and be counted - when they get a chance they should take it.

The balance is wrong for me, horses for courses, we needed better players while in the prem,

 

Now we've dropped I think it's a very very rude awakening to the club as a whole the players should be able to cope because there supposed to be good enough, individually they may be good enough but collectively they are not, we need a backbone I expected much more from Mills before he was injured

Surprised no ones mentioned relegation because we aint to good to avoid it., no confidence, no leadership on the pitch ,feel for freedman with the shit that he has been left. even the bottom 3 have found some form.

List the whole squad for sale and have a massive clear out (except Holden & Mark Davies). Blood the youth - Eaves, Riley et al and we can't do any worse than this current set of wasters.

This season is dead and buried now - clear the decks and build for next season, give DF his chance to make his own mark on the club and squad.

 

I am convinced that our defensive frailties are stemming from Bogdan, not to make him the scapegoat but his communication to his players and his commanding of his area is shocking.

Mears, Knight and the recent Ricketts can't cope with championship strikers

Spearing did well today and got stuck in but him and Andrews have no flair to create something.

Eagles, when you are 2-0 up is a world beater, until then, may as well play with 10 - the amount of times he was scared of getting hurt today in the tackle was frightening. Get rid.

What pissed me off more than the fact that our game plan seems to consist of 'pass it sideways until you lose the fecker, repeat' was the number of players pulling out of 50-50's. All over the bleeding pitch.

 

The only player who seemed remotely interested was Spearing and he's not even our bleeding player. Its a shite state of affairs and it's no good blaming Coyle. This fella is getting paid to get results with the players he has. If he can't then we've got the wrong bloke.

I lost count of the number of players who, when faced with a 50/50 ball, opt to step aside and allow the opponent through.

 

Another bug-bear today, that I haven't noticed much prior, is when two defenders go for the same ball, niether end up going for it and the ball bounces to an opponent.

 

Is all this a by-product of the booing? Are the 'supporters' heaping the pressure on the players such that they are not making correct decisions for fear of ridicule?
