I think that is the main thing that I have taken away today as well, oh to have Reo-Coker back.

 

Was critical of Mark Davies earlier in the season as well but the post Owen Coyle Mark Davies is a big miss in this side.

You're always going to struggle when you name Mears and Knight in your back 4, but I was happy enough when I saw the midfield and forward line. What do I know?

 

That midfield and forward line should be ripping this division apart, but failing under 2 different managers suggests there is a problem with the players. Is it ability, fitness, desire? There's no fight or passion in the team, and it can't be laid at the managers door that they seem incapable of passing a ball 5 yards.

That's the problem deane.. there's lots need shoveling out but who's gonna want them ? i can only think of mark davies thats wanted by anyone else. If we don't get rid of 4 or 5 then we won't be bringing many in either is my guess.. If we wouldn't/couldn't spend while in premier league i don't think we're gonna spend now either.. do you ?

As someone else said, wholesale changes need to be made, we have a talented youth squad, whats to lose by giving a good number of them first team football, lets face it we all know that the playoffs are a distant dream, get the Knights and Mears away from the first team, blood the youngsters and let them get the experience needed and ready for a good push next season, them alongside some good January signings should have us moving in the right direction or at least showing the desire to do well.

On the plus side, the game has finished and i can attempt to wipe that shite from my memory.
