Bolton 3 Birmingham 1

Doing this whilst the negative mood is in the air.

After today's pantomime performance and us showing festive spirit(or drinking large amounts of it),i'm not one bit optimistic for the visit of

Jasper Carrot's favourites.

Dougie Freedman will know his honeymoon period is over and somehow needs to mould his shower of overpaid underperforming shower of shite into an effective team unit.

Atmosphere will be flatter than Mavis Riley's chest, crowd a disappointing 16,780 and i'm not even attempting to second guess the team selection.

6-1 to them with hat-tricks for the Francis twins,Kev and Trev.

Stu gets our goal

Had a bastardnuff of this dire muck being served up

Kevin Davies may be past his best, but when he plays we won't have spineless surrenders like last Wednesday & he dominated the B/ham defence today. As others have said, Pratley was very good toda

Supped a few Stella tonight and now I am chomping at the bit for tomorrow.

18/1, gobble it up, the odds will be shorter tomorrow, 4-1 Bolton.

He wont tell his players the starting 11 till just before kick off.Which is unusual. Text ive just got.

Because Stuart Holden is coming back tomorrow

Quote from DF on the Official BWFC Facebook feed:

"The lads are very disappointed with the way they performed on Boxing Day and I’ve seen a quiet determination around the group," says Dougie Freedman ahead of the visit of Birmingham.

I'm fairly sure they weren't as pissed off about the defeat as we, the folk who are paying their very high wages were.

Fans don't pay players wages.

Gate receipts are pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Sam Ricketts reckons we've enjoyed our Christmas whilst they've been in training. Fucking ignorant prick.

Until Sky money dries up, then they'll need us again

Mears will still be here then

Here here players really are fuckwits.

With ngog and Afobe possibly injured reckon we will revert to Davies up top and bring butterfield in.

If we stay 442, and I would rather we didn't, one of the central mids has to be willing to go beyond the striker every now and again, otherwise we end up going sideways too often. Also the fullbacks need to overlap every now and again.

With 5 in midfield Andrews and spearing can sit and we can get eagles on the ball more. Also if your strikers aren't scoring regularly no point playing two up.

Against Charlton playing 451 bizarely we did not have any width at all, Eagles & CYL were really tucked in and we were narrow, then on Boxing Day he plays 4 across the middle with out and out wingers??

Would prefer 451 but need width when we have the ball to stretch teams, no doubt he will drop Petrov but I would leave him in as he would have less to do defensively in a 5.

Also think Spearing and Andrews are poor, could Pratley have a run in one of their spots??

Agreed I cant work freedman out tactically. Charlton was an education for us according to him but next home game changes the formation. When we do play with five we seem to tuck the wingers in. Dont get it.

Actually i can work him out. It looks negative. Trying to sit in and defend that shite back four is cracked.

Jesus christ do we really play later today. Fuck sake. I've only just recovered from boxing day

I think he's changed a couple after every game up to now. What message does that send to the players? It doesn't matter if I play well or not, I may or may not be dropped next game.

• Should they let in one goal, it'll be the 2,500th they will have conceded in home league football.

must be a chance

No idea what score today but could be a sub 16,000 crowd on.

I'd take the shit that come with it but if payday was yesterday then I'd have given them 20 hours a week on minimum wages just to see the reaction.

With the majority since Owen Coyle took over?

Im sat on my couch, in the warmth, nice and dry and with no hangover or any intention of drinking today. The world is my oyster!

Ill be ruining this feeling soon by heading to the Reebok purely because of the "but what if we win, what if its a cracking game" voice in my head.

I should really get it checked out!
