Embarrassing.

Fans who I hear where I sit chirp on that they miss the passion and excitement of the premiership then today aren't anywhere to be seen.

£15/£5 for a Premiership game today and we were embarrassing in numbers.

Sunderland showed how fans can lift their team and probably has put them in the 4th Round.

Non existent fans who couldn't be bothered should be ashamed.

I was going to go today but went for a quick half hour this morning and only just woke up, Bastard starving now and need a brew.

I might even of been abducted by aliens and had a chip put in me.

I'll check in the shower later.

Until you know the real reasons behind people choosing not to go i suggest you keep your comments to yourself. For a start people are skint after Christmas etc etc etc.I also agree with Marc a lot of people including myself have spent a lot of money recently on certain games!

Aye, you and 15,000 others by the looks of things today.

I'm not picking out individuals but as a town, 7000 home fans for a £15 game against a decent side is pitiful.

FA Cup day and where was the biggest football attendance in Britain today...Scottish Third Division!!

All true. I've been going for a while now for a young en and gone are the days when missing a game is a traged.

I may miss more tthis season too. I hope that's okay with you Sir?

No point in beating ourselves up about it. Well done to those who went, there were crap attendances all over and although I don't care about other teams either it's obvious that it not just Bolton's problem. Sad tho when you can remember when the cup used to get the town buzzing.

That's a very arrogant and misguided thing to say, in case you hadn't noticed, we're not a Premier League team anymore, we're a very mediocre Championship side

Thing is, the £45 I saved today on petrol plus ticket, added to the £55 or so by missing Leeds, adds up to enough for the train travel, ale and comestibles at Palace. At which I intend to get cunted.

Perhaps the chances of a repeat of Stoke put a few thousand off going to cup games.

16th in the championship and drawing with a premiership team. Not a bad result methinks.

Not a bad performance either I didn't think. I thought Chungy covered every blade of grass, really put a shift in and was lightning for the goal. Just waiting for the cynics to say he is in the shop window but if he carries on like that he would be dynamite in the championship. I think he is improving every week and i hope he staysI thought Pratley played ok as well, Lonergan is a good shot stopper not sure of his abilities re commanding the box/crosses but he did well today. Disappointed with Sordell whilst realising he hasn't had many chances to impress and Petrov was frustrating again. Overall good cup tie and didn't end up thinking 'why did I bother?'.

oh aye, i like freedman and have my colours nailed firmly to his past

but really hate this 'wrong wing' shit

Can't really remember when we had a decent attendance to a 3rd round game - it's to be expected. What was the matchday price 10 years ago when we played them on the same weekend? The attendance was about 10k and both teams were in the PL.

I have gone to the 3rd games against Lincoln York and Tranmere in recent years but decided I'd spent enough on them this season so far..... and not had much commitment and effort back in return

Ahh the old favourite Shitfanathon!!

Fair enough - like I said, I'm not singling out individuals or proclaiming myself fan of the year. I reckon the vast majority of posters on here are what I'd class as regulars, but it seems like the majority even of these decided to give it a miss today.

Sunderland's fans were excellent today. I just wish we still made a noise like that at home.

The days of the Reebok being anywhere near full for any type of game are well and truely over, so get over it, i go if or when i want too and i don't have to explain to our Maude what i'm doing so i'm surely not having to explain myself on here, so for all you hero's and loyal supporters who went, well fucking done and for all those shit fans like me who couldn't be arsed also well done.

Oh and i might not even go next week either so i'm an even bigger shit fan but i couldn't give a flying fuck

I'm Mannyroad58, I'll go when I want.

:-)

Wanted to.

Was excited to see a changed 11 and some of the players I think should be given a chance play.

Lonergan, Riley, Sordell et al
