Lots of positives to be taken from today.

Alonso immense, Vela & Pratley looking very good, Lonergan looks comfortable with the back 4 and is far more vocal than Boggs, Sordell put a shift in and CYL looking more like his old self the more games he plays.

Unlucky with the result as we looked very comfortable for a large portion of the game, however if we can push on from the last few games then for me it's not a bad result. Many I spoke to last week conceded that the season is over now, personally I think the next 2 will make or break it.

Very impressed with that performance. Thought young josh vela was superb, makes you proud to be a wanderer watching a lad who's been with us since he was 8 (?) run the show whilst up against Fellaini.

 

Alonso and spearing were both excellent and it was great to see Holden back.

 

Pointless sub in Afobe, please introduce our own players into the squad (c Davies, eaves) and stop developing arsenals players for them.

Agree with this but it wasnt the right time to bring Holden on and especially not for Vela - this young lad has to be given a run in the team

Plenty round us, most just got carted out and one or two stand offs but no one got twatted. Someone was taking a good beating at front of ESL, steward on his own just stood there waving looking for back up

 

Enjoyed the match, despite the obvious, couldn't touch it first 10 mins, thought we were going to get bummed, but once we settled thought we played well, and like everyone else thought alonso was outstanding, that turn and flick in the south west corner to bring the ball out, first class

 

And a cool finish from sordell, thought ream played well too

Andea pirlo plays a lot of sideways passes too. IMO this sideways passes thing is a load of bollocks. If there is nothing on in front of you, better to keep the ball than try a risky pasd

Don't mind Andrews but can't see any justification for dropping any of Vela, Spearing or Pratley based on today's performance. That said, Dougie still changed things even after how well we played at Sunderland so you never know.

He can't start Andrews anymore this season after watching the 3 in the middle today. (Not including stu Holden)

Well to echo many sentiments already passed,can take a lot out of that today.

I was very impressed with the overall performance today, Vela looked very nervous for the first 10/15 mins but was very good after that, suggests he needs more starts then he feels like he belongs at this level.

 

Alonso was M.O.T.M again for me, Ream looks like a defender at last over the last few weeks too. Sordell is scoring - Ngog would have taken a touch on that chance, skid would still be bumbling his way into the box. Sordell is a goal scorer, he needs a run now.

Chuffed enough with today (though having to beg a push from Scousers after getting stuck trying to park in me usual spot near the Bromilow wasn't fun). We deserved a draw at the very least. Other than first 15 minutes we were the better team.

Some great individual performances, if we can play like this in the League hopefully we can still go on that run I keep thinking we will go on where we may go something like 10 games unbeaten and win most to get right up there.
