Makes him a selfish cunt in my book. He had the opportunity, once he realised his injury was beyond allowing him to proceed further, to put the other guy through by default rather than giving the big-mouthed Aussie the bye.

Perhaps it was the prize money. After all, his nett worth is only $220million. The difference between losing quarter-finalist and losing semi-finalist might make all the difference to him.

Some nonsense being posted on here. How did he know what level of injury he had sustained during his QF? The only thing you can do is try to win and then if you get through try to recover. Nadal is a supreme winning machine and was able to win a match at60-70% fitness. Unbelievable talent and mental strength in bucket loads.
