Their fitness levels are something else

It’s not just that, trusting a metal hip when twisting and turning at pace takes some mental strength, every twinge you think it’s gonna breakdown.

That was a very gutsy tie break from Murray.

Im not watching as im uncomfortable watching him struggle

Hes such an amazing competitor and an all time great but i wish he would call it a day

its his life and he wont stop while he enjoys it, i guess

I know what you mean but this could be the last time we see him on centre court so it’s a must watch for our greatest sports person ever IMO.

It’s a cracking game, he’s done well to get back into it

Hes definitely up there

The embodiment of britishness and yet, has loads of haters

Weird

It is weird but there you go. After Scottish Independence they will all hate him for that.

It’s no surprise plenty don’t like him given he supports whoever England are playing.

Good effort by Murray. Never going to be back to his old self, and he probably needed to be to beat Isner tonight.

When the ball was in play Murray was better on the whole, but he just couldn't make enough inroads into the Isner serve.

Time to pack it in now perhaps- he's had another go, but isn't going to get back to his former glories.

Couldn’t he team up with Jamie and have a good go at wining the doubles

I think he's explained several times in the past that a jokey comment he made was misconstrued.

Regardless and add in his old sulky personality it’s not a surprise he’s disliked by some.

I’ve watched his documentary on his recovery from surgery and his dedication,  hard work and desire are off the scale.

Aye, same could be said of his mental strength.  Tennis players need it in spades anyway, but I cant imagine the pressure he must have been under when winning Wimbledon.

Definitely one of our greatest sportsmen of all time.

Goes in the golf category this

I enjoy playing golf even though I'm shit but don't watch it at all.

Tennis is neither watched or surprisingly played by me

The one major plus or Murray getting knocked out is not having to hear that fucking "Let's go Andy" song.  That's without doubt the gayest thing I've ever heard.

It's better than the shrieks of C'mon Tim. Not by much, mind.

Yeah he's finished.

Never lost to Isner before or lost before the 3rd round.

shame to see what injury has done to murray

hes definitely past winning slams, but Isner on grass is some talent, and a really likeable fella for a yank

he could go very deep

murray can still win matches and maybe fancies another tilt at the davis cup
