Sweep
I love big bang, it's ace. Brilliantly written I'm with you on that, one of the few sitcoms I actually like
Site Supporter Alf Hartigan Posted February 4, 2013 Site Supporter Share Posted February 4, 2013 Oh thanks for reminding me, I've not said it for at least a week. I've tried teaching my parrot that one, but he's having none of it. bit tricky for a parrot to be fair
frank_spencer
I'm with you on that, one of the few sitcoms I actually like I think it helps that everyone knows a Sheldon. Plus some of the stuff in Raj and Howards bromance makes me piss. Amy is my favourite character. Penny is fit but you know Bernadette is filthy. Sweep
I've tried teaching my parrot that one, but he's having none of it. You should try and teach it to say "Help, they've turned me into a Parrot" Edited February 4, 2013 by CWP

no balls
is it you? No. It's a good friend, though other friends do think we're both 'odd' like that. Sheldon amuses me, bless him.

I wonder if I'd still laugh at the Young Ones though It was great 30 years ago, and watched it on youtube a good few times and still chuckle. I suppose it's like Till Death Do Us Part, which was great viewing in the 60s, but would never get another series made in todays PC climate. I was a half an hour filler I presume for BBC2 but it was actually quite funny in a quaint sort of way.

leigh white
Rigsby is the funniest sitcom character ever. He played a great part, even his stammering was acting, just a pity he died so young. I bet he would have loved a scene in bed with Miss Jones and going pairshaped.

Site Supporter HomerJay Posted February 5, 2013 Site Supporter Share Posted February 5, 2013 I made mistake of thinking the other programmes on e4 would be of big bang standards. Such as how I met you mother and another which name escapes me. Poor just poor

magic legs
Gave Mighty Boosh a go and it was just silly without being funny. I thought MBB was just one of those generational things like My Family, but worryingly I know people in early 30s who love it.

Sweep
I watched a coupl eof episodes of The MIghty Boosh and just didn't get it at all, but then I find Noel Fielding abouit as funny as toothache. I also used to really like The Young Ones but having watched some of them again in the past few years they just don't seem funny to me anymore.
