Favourite Skd Memory

"If I'm watching on television I shout at the screen. Someone his size, his strength, I just don't understand it. Since I've been at Bolton I've had three fractures, and I played on with all of them. I fractured my cheekbone when Hermann Hreidarsson elbowed me against Charlton about three years ago, and he got sent off, but I didn't go down. Then in the second half I jumped with one of their players and brushed him with my forearm, and he went down screaming. So I got sent off. That was a little bit disappointing."

Where's that KD gone?

His battering ram treatment of defenders is one of my favourite things in our prem run.

  • Making Evra's life a nightmare when he bullied him, and if the story is true when asked by Evra's why he was doing it SKD told him that he didn't like him.   A great servant to the club who is leavi

That wonderful thunderous sound that only you and the poor opposition can hear ....

That the bull elephant that is SKD is about to take his legs from underneath him

Yep all 3 of them for me too.

The mans a hero ..

Its a strange one as ive wanted him out all season, now it looks like its going to happen, I feel very sad about it.

Evra time for me. I fucking loved that whingeing twat getting it.

when I met him after the Spurs 4-2 where he was MOTM - was in the platinum suite with Smiffs and HW, got to say hello and have pictures - was pissed and just as picture was taken told him I got a hard on when he came on for England - he didn't know where to look, def looked a tad uncomfortable in the picture

that and the goal v Bayern

It was after that match when I thought he'd elevated himself into legend status. He was head and shoulders above anyone on the pitch and considering Crouch was on the pitch for the opposition and the England manager was there, it seemed a formality that he had done enough to earn his second England cap. He didn't, Crouch got selected for the next match and I honestly believe that was the start of his decline in form.

2 years 5 months later released, sad the speed of his decline.

my memory of davies is forest away and peterborough at home, this season

its a shame

I'll never forget this. Took me about 10 minutes to get my breath back.

Birmingham away FA cup quarter final was the last time Kev had a truly great game for us.

Fucking great day.

Great night that. Taxi got lost on way to ground, missed Gardners goal, legged it up to away end so was knackered for ages. Just about got my breath back by the time Davies smashed that goal in. They were brilliant scenes after that, brilliant.

Yeah I liked that too!

For those sliding tackles by the touchline in the first five minutes of every game. 50% resulted in bookings. But the opposition knew they had their hands full and I imagine a number of the namby-pamby millionaire wannabee full-backs at the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, etc were mindful of Kev after that and stayed well clear.

I always used to shout "welcome to Bolton" whenever he did that.

when he was being interviewed on pitch with wanderers fans singing his name was fucking goose bump material.

Villa away last season. 1 -0 down at half time & lucky to be still in the game. SKD came on held the ball up laid it off well & absolutely bullied them. MOM by a country mile and he only played 45 mins

will we see him again this season?

I personaly think he has earned the right to be called a Bolton legend, up there with the best of them

He's in the club's all time top 20 appearances list.

According to Sheppard's numbers, for length of service, number of appearances and goals, he's pretty much Freddie Hill.

19th on that appearances list: 4 games behind Ricardo Gardner who left the club in a far more dignified manner.

He's 6 behind Jimmy Phillips and 7 behind Hill.
