cbwfcd Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 We beat Blackpool at home and to the playoffs we go, easy! Quote
gregbwfc Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Bloody hell, never the easy way. Good that leicester are still interested. Nailed on draw that next week I reckon (hope !!!) Quote
Didledee Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) But if Palace lose both their games they will also be on 68pts, but possibly be below us on GD There is that, doubt they'll not pick up anything v Millwall and Pete'boro though, we just need to win, we usually do now at The Reebok (and hope Forest don't win by about 7-10) Edited April 27, 2013 by Didledee Quote
paulhanley Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 If you'd offered me this scenario before kick off today I'd have taken it. Going to Cardiff and getting draw with depleted ranks and a poor away record is no mean feat. The tinpot tangerine shit will be girding themselves to spoil it for us next week, so it won't be easy. Moderators Carlos Posted April 27, 2013 Moderators Posted April 27, 2013 Plus Vela is like playing with 10 men. Quote
Didledee Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 I'd prefer us to play Brighton in play-offs, though now we defo will have the 2nd leg away. Quote
Con Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Couple of big ifs, but Hull would be my choice. Quote
gonzo Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Couple of big ifs, but Hull would be my choice. Hull away early kick off on the sunday would just be delicious. Quote
The True Marple White Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Horrible second half to watch but fantastic point........can't understand people slamming seats at a point. Still in our hands! Thank gos they didn't need to win, that's all I'll say Quote
Moderators Carlos Posted April 27, 2013 Moderators Posted April 27, 2013 Hull all the way, they have imploded. We should have got Steve Bruce! Quote
Didledee Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) We've beaten everyone above us bar Palace, over 2 games we'd have knocked out Watford, Hull and Brighton if they where 2 legged contests. Edited April 27, 2013 by Didledee Quote
jules_darby Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 It would be just like Blackpool to spoil it for us This home winning run has to end somewhere Just hope it's in the Premiership Quote
miamiwhite Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 i think all the other sides will be looking at us and saying 'i don't fancy playing Bolton' we're the form side Quote

Sweep Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 , over 2 games we'd have knocked out Watford, Hull and Brighton if they where 2 legged contests. We wouldn't have knocked Watford out, but we would have gone to extra time Quote

MalcolmW Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) I'd prefer us to play Brighton in play-offs, though now we defo will have the 2nd leg away. . If Palace have 2 draws they will be on 70 pts gd+10 If Bolton win by 3 they will be on 70 pts gd+11 Unless Forest win by 7 we finish fifth. Even a Bolton draw means 68 pts gd+8 If Palace lose 1-0 and 2-0 they are 68 pts gd+7 provided Forest v Leicester is a draw we would still be fifth! The good thing is we go into the game needing to win, but a draw will suffice unless Leicester win (or Forest win big). Edited April 27, 2013 by MalcolmW Quote
