Youri McAnespie Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 They're all coming back now; Charles Haid, Bruce Weitz, Ed Marinero, Michael Warren, Joe Spano - fucking 'ell why does my brain reserve a place for such meaningless recollections of wank, useless information? Quote

no balls Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Charles Haid does producing these days, I've seen his name on the credits of Criminal Minds. Detectives LaRue & Washington were my favourites. Cool fuckers. How could you not be cool though with a name like Taurean Blacque. Quote
Exiled Girl Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Yes, I liked those two too. Didn't La Rue die soon after the series finished? Quote
no balls Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Yes, I liked those two too. Didn't La Rue die soon after the series finished? 1990 according to the internet. He was a pisscan apparently. Washington was the first single black man to adopt in America. Interesting facts galore Quote
Exiled Girl Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I won't watch NCIS cos Mark Harmon died of Aids in St Elsewhere and is now, therefore, dead and can't be a cop. Was Taurean Blaque a Taurus then? Quote

Now, I honestly havent a clue what star signs are which, but a little bit of internet research tells me he is. Amazing. & Mark Harmon's on my list. BAD AIDS or no BAD AIDS. Quote
Exiled Girl Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Aids from shagging around. Wear a condom & you'll be ok, maybe... Quote

gonzo Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Sorry, I don't get it In his words, we are all niggers, so his message is anti-racist; we are all the same Open to persuasion Its the actual word nigger. No matter what context its used,it could be deemed offensive by some. You obvioulsy didn't find it offensive, but some people did. As Ive said before, this was a very high profile dinner for an organisation that in past two years alone has had to deal with loads of race issues including one where the use of the word nigger was the offence. In todays PC society,at that type of dinner especially, including that word in whatever way he meant it,was a stupid thing to do. Wether you thought it was funny or not. Quote
DazBob Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 in the current FA climate it was as ill advised a choice as getting jo brand to do a turn at weight watchers in terms of content Exactamundo. I doubt anyone was offended, however particluarly after the Suarez/Evra incident where the N word was the issue, they really shouldn't be booking a comedian who uses the word so frequently. Yes, it could be seen as 'PC gone mad', but IMO it's a case of a huge lack of common sense. I'd also say the Redinald D Hunter is completely blameless unless he was specifically told not to use the N word. Quote
jules_darby Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 He has done a great job for footballers That's his job He represents his organisation very poorly when he interviews as bad as he did yesterday And that's far from the first time He sounds like a senile buffoon Hardly how they'd want to be seen Highest paid TU leader in the world they reckon Quote

jayjayoghani Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 With the amount of money in football these days, hardly an achievement The only good thing Gordon Taylor ever did was his excellent eulogy at Nat's funeral Quote
