Traf
Truly awful today, folks. Nobody came out of that game with any credit at all, management included. We lack pace, creativity and fight in all areas. That team today didn't deserve the support that turned out. The booing, however, was frankly ridiculous. bulldog
I'm no fucking expert but I've said from day 1 we cannot get away with playing knight & wheater together I can't believe that dougie & co haven"t twigged this yet. After today this needs sorted but unfortunately other positions need sorting to!
madthatter
Struggling to find a positive after that really. As others have said whole team were dire. To me it's inexcusable for a pro footballer to not find a man from 10 yards away, happened time after time. Our defence is quite frankly abysmal. Worst iv seen since David Luiz waltzed through our whole team a few years back. I hope to Allah we get some steel in soon. Dawson and Rhodes were never gonna happen were they? Hopefully loans or other deals in the pipeline or I think mid table mediocrity looms The most annoying thing about today though for me is that Rrrrrrrovers weren't even that good. waffer cup 07
For me its all about having a proper game plan and the management getting it across to the players. I won't have it that the players aren't good enough, they are, all the starting eleven have to my knowledge played in the Premiership including Zat Knight. The booing was cringeworthy, how many clubs up and down the land get behind their sides no matter what? Watch leeds next home game! They will sell the allocation and sing loud and proud. Come on bolton, it's easy to sing when you are winning! It's a true test when things aren't going your way! Moderators Carlos Posted August 31, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 31, 2013 I'm up for rolling that twat Wheater over in his convertible. Being booed is the least of his worries.
clown
Lad is playing out of position on wing. Medo and spearing are not working together as a 2. One of them with pratley way forward for me Yep exactly. I would sacrifice Ngog to get this in place. Might as well get some brass for him now. Strikers who look good on the ball until they get near goal and don't score are ten a penny, no matter how classy they look.

I think someone posted about this earlier. He went a bit far but it was along the lines of weve got 10,000 happy clapper fans that think we should be pushing for champions league places. Not strictly true but I think we have a significant proportion of our fans that only know the prem (and last year).
Astley White
Our defence is atrocious everyone knows that and opposing strikers must be rubbing their hands together when they play against us. I definately would swap our current back four with any other back four in the league and possibly even league 1. Watching all those videos on Rhodes this week didnt work. Site Supporter only1swanny Posted August 31, 2013 Site Supporter Share Posted August 31, 2013 Dougie has Deadwood, Well paid deadwood.. simple IN work, if people don't do what's asked, Warning, 2nd Time, Written Warning 3rd Time Final Written Warning 4th Time. Sacked Surely this is standard in every industry.. Footballers have unions etc, so the same must apply.. 4/5 Games, who do you reckon would go ? IMO opinion, Medo and Spearing are too similar minded, it wont work, Bring in a winger on the other side to help attack, Knight and Wheater, just will not work, Surely trying Mills and Ream cant be any worse.. Youri McAnespie
Knight and Wheater haven't a braincell between them, I'm hardly going out on a limb or offering great insight to venture that any other combination would be an improvement. BOWTUN BAKED
The greatest worry for me by an absolute mile is I see not one sign of a game plan. I really can't see what we are trying to do. We are absolutely clueless when we get a throw in. No idea what to do. Not a clue! Goal kicks anything can happen. Are those things down to players not being up to it or down to freedman? Has to be freedman for me. A game plan for throw ins & goal kicks? really? that's what's worrying you? I'm surprised Premier Managers don't phone you up for advice. Any more pearls of wisdom from a man that feels right in justifiably defending Knight? Seriously? I'm starting to believe you're some WUM from another teams support. Unbelievable

Would it though? There seems a worrying apathy about the whole club at the minute. A lack of commitment, desire, passion or whatever you want to call it is inexcusable. Are Ream and Mills the answer? Would Dawson be?

Traf
Every goal kick is punted to the left back just inside the opposition half. They're either headed back past our full back or they sail out of play. Rectifying this is not a priority, but it is fuckng annoying, wasteful and shit. I'm sick of giving goals away because of Knight, though you don't seem to see it & continue to defend the undefendable. Hopefully you'll see losing goals loses games, but if your worried about losing possession from the lottery of a throw in, I give up hope! I'm back off to the pub, it's menkel on here tonight, I need a top up.

Oh don't get me wrong I think Knight is pure dog shite, i'd rather have Titus Bramble ffs, and as a pair they're atrocious. Wheater is getting back reet at the minute though but still, he generally looks like a penalty or red card is just around the corner. My worry is more that the lack of effort or desire from many players today was unacceptable. I don't think you can blame Doogie for that either, not implying you were like, but some will. At least not yet
