Been a few years since I've been to Middlesborough and I forgot how bleak and grim the place is the area around the ground is a wasteland there is no infrastructure and the atmosphere matches the area bleak, if you compare the Reebok surroundings and infrastructure is on a different planet.

We shouldn't be giving up on promotion. We started our run in February last season. Plenty of time yet. Win the next two home games and go from there.

The fans certainly can't be faulted - 3 long distance away games in a row with an average following of over 900, and coming up to Christmas too. That's nearly double what most clubs (bar Leeds and Sheffield Wed) have brought to us so far this season. I reckon there'll be some big followings in the second half of the season if we get some momentum going - esp to those Yorkshire games.

I thought it was a good defensive away performance ruined by one mistake. Wasn't Beckfords day, terrible penalty and he should have scored when he volleyed a good chance. Fair play to him for coming over to the fans after the whistle though. There seems a lot more togetherness and team spirit now that's been lacking for a long time.
