jules_darby
RIP the Black Pearl Grew up on VHS cassettes of the World Cup and I'd say after Pele he was the next biggest "name" Known for his sportsmanship as much as his football My old man saw him live at the 66 WC and thought he was absolutely brilliant Edited January 5, 2014 by jules_darby
Smiley
Did the statue thing at the Stadium of Light many moons ago in my Bolton shirt. Absolute legend. Just looked at his scoring stats, few if any will better him.

Juan.Kerr
Yes, it was Eddie Hopkinsons testimonial. I remember him and fellow Portuese Simoes being announced at the edge of the pitch and Eusabio was playing keepy-up, the ball never going above a foot from his feet. This was in the days when keepy-up was a skill unknown on these shores. RIP Black Pearl.
