Congrats to Leigh so let's hope we can enjoy the derby next season. Looking like a Hull KR or Huddersfield v Salford for the £1m game

Hkr by far the worst of the 3 mate. Salford v hkr in million pound game...too close to call in a cup final especially as you'd lose home advantage with sale playing that day.

For me it will be Karma if Salford get relegated now that Leigh are Super League.

Well done the Leythers!

Dayne was full of praise for you mate. He will be back...he's had stuff done at one of the biggest RL clubs in the world and really appreciated your work.

Maybe we could play at your place? I watched salford demolish HKR at our place only a few months back but a one off game is a different proposition

Oi Smiffs - tell the class where you were on the day when Leigh last got promoted whilst all us men were there! :D

Fuckin mega. Lots of time on the M5 and M6 beckons next summer...

Exactly mate it will be tough either way but give Salford their points back and they shouldn't even be in the mix

Exactly but Koukash has brought this on himself so we are where we are. My grandad played and funded the club for 25 years in the early part of the 1900s so i have a personal connection with the club so their current plight is particularly hard to take

Thanks S. He's a really nice bloke and I appreciate the recommendation. Enjoy the ride!

He also took over a basket case and has thrown in some good coin. He's realised there are rules too...a bit late now but the problems run much deeper. It's a shame they were established at the willows and moving them to that faceless place on the outskirts of nothing will kill eventually them.

Well done Leigh. I know that Leigh is a rugby town, and Bolton is football. Leigh have a good contingent of Wanderers fans, but do Leigh get much support from the BL postcode?

Support in Bolton is certainly growing in my experience, seem to have more and more coming each week. It probably helps when the alternatives are Wigan and Salford which both obviously have footballing connotations that aren't great for BWFC fans, and I suppose there's a similar outlook at being a reasonably big club in the context, but with a lot of your own town support somewhat drawn to bigger neighbours.

I'll be jumping on the band wagon next season supporting Leigh. True blue gunner garoo all my life.

They don't serve lobby at the ground though do they? The pungent whiff of 1930's cuisine drifting across the stands might put me off.

Otherwise, me and the lad are in. For the odd match. Against Wiggin.

Will they do a Haka before matches now? They can just fire lobby at the opposition from catapults.

They sell lobby by the pint with side orders of spiralised courgette.

Next home game (Saturday 17th) is free. Bolton are away so if you're not going

I'll not be at either game. #shittestfanever

I had friends over from Australia who love RL recently, so I took them to the Leigh v London Broncos game.

Stood in the terrace behind the goal ( which was an experience in itself) there were quite a few who had come from the Macron stood around me, in Bolton shirts etc, but i actually got some grief for being from Bolton off some pissed up twat and told what was I doing in Leigh, he told my friends that of all the places in England they shouldn't go it's Bolton as its full of wankers and we were as bad as Wiganers!

Think he was a minority, worked in Leigh for 20 odd years and never heard of any sort of hatred or rivalry before, just that they hate Wigan, it quite surprised me the level of his vitriol towards Bolton.
