Well another season nearly over, just the World Cup in Australia to come ,anybody think we have a earthly chance of winning it.

I'll stick my neck out and say no.

Aye he’s been playing bingo. Silly boy as he lost the chance to go to the last world

Cup for bad behaviour as well

Huge loss to the team

Why Sam Tomkins isn’t in I’ve no idea.

How any Warrington players have got anywhere near that squad beggars belief. I mean what has Kevin Brown to deserve his inclusion???

Completely agree re brown. A decent player but there’s much better than him in the English game

Hill has to be in there as a pure leader of men (I'll accept a cheque Medway), I can see how Ratchford is in there as a utility player (albeit with massive drawbacks in whichever position he ends up) but I can only assume Bennett has picked Brown based on old YouTube videos, and even then I'd be amazed if the reel for his entire career was enough to justify a call up.

Yeah. Mad how we are tolerant of steroids but not chan

In reality it's the complete opposite - the testing is so focused towards performance enhancing drugs that it seems players are nowhere near as worried when it comes to being caught with recreational drugs. Much the same in other sports when you think that pretty much any recreational case is more or less shrugged off and then compare it to the issues of steroids in athletics and cycling. The only difference is football is that the players will be taking stuff that won't be in the public consciousness for another 5 years yet.

Greg Eden I completely agree with but not Jamie shaul IMO but his time will come.

We will get horsed by the Aussies far too strong quick and skill full

18-4 defeat for England today, but 12-10 would have been a much fairer reflection of the play.

And I think there were only 3 penalty decisions in the whole match.

I didn't know England were even playing, I'm guessing it's over in Australia, with it being an AM kick off time

The England 2nd half performance bodes well and a fairer result would have been 12-12

Blimey, just heard on the radio, there's a world cup - I didn't even know RL did World Cups, I honestly didn't think there were enough countries playing it. I'm guessing that Australia or England win it pretty much every time

I feel sure you said that last time!

This is the 15th such event, first held in 1954.

Australia or NZ generally are the strongest teams but England's performance this morning and particularly in the 2nd half was encouraging
