Sunday Blues

Massive difference if I've been drinking or not

If I have I don't sleep Sundays and Mondays are a battle

If I haven't it's a breeze and I can't wait to get stuff done

The weather helps too...now it's light when I leave just before 7am and especially if it's sunny it gets me going

Big thing for me is something to look forward to Sunday evenings so it's not just waiting for Monday;

I used to have Homeland / Game of Thrones which worked

Or going out to see friends / family to fill the time

Years ago looking forward to 5 aside on Monday evenings helped too

Try it :)

Not had it for years as I love my job now and when I was on a call centre I worked weekends which meant you dont build up enough time for the dread to kick in its just 7 days a week dread!

I am also in the "have a kid" camp. Theres fucking no way you stay awake fretting about Monday, you sleep when you can!

Used to dread heartbeat on a Sunday and if I'd made hale and pace id properly taken the piss.

If i made spitting image I was deffo off the next day.

Nowadays even though I love my job,and don't even come close to being as smashed as I used to be on a Sunday night...I just can't help wanting to walk into the sea on a Sunday night.

The thought of Dave Pearce trace anthems on radio 1 brings me to tears.

I don't know why I feel this way.

Maybe it's because you're 30 tomorrow and you feel old? :whistle:

I'm getting wellied tonight - cos I can. Might pop in the office tomorrow - might not. Our work is seasonal. 80-100 hour weeks - to next-ta-nowt. Love it. Spent Friday afternoon in Bents on an extended lunch with my mum... drinking tea & eating cream/jam scones! It's how I roll!!!
