C86 Posted July 12, 2014 Share Posted July 12, 2014 If its just an extension then trust me, you don't need an architect. I've done a few planning applications so happy to help with the survey/planning drawings. I can then pass on the CAD drawing to somebody who can then do the drawings for the building regulations. This is where people get confused and ripped off, for an extension on the back of an house you need simple planning drawings & building regulation drawings (and a structural engineer for calcs).
