no balls Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 This up Rivington? Planned on taking the dog for a walk, that's that plan fucked then! That's my entire Sunday fucked if I want to go anywhere in the car as my road is closed. Quote
Traf Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 That's my entire Sunday fucked if I want to go anywhere in the car as my road is closed. Â Can you not just park your car a short walk away on Saturday afternoon/evening? Quote
Henry_VIII Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 The Ironman is superb. It brings people from all over the world to the town, brings in cash and raises the profile. I know from talking to competitors they love it in Bolton, they say the people are great and the support helps to get them through it. Its's only one day of disruption, get involved, go and support it you will enjoy it. Â I know loads doing this year, some of whom will be well known too many on here, give them a cheer. Quote
Danny G Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Its great, I will be outside cheering them on early Sunday morning Quote
no balls Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Can you not just park your car a short walk away on Saturday afternoon/evening? Not really as I'm slap bang in the middle so it wouldn't be a short walk Quote
Traf Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Not really as I'm slap bang in the middle so it wouldn't be a short walk  Ah, sorry, I thought Lee Lane and COR weren't on the route. Quote
anewman Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Our first pre season friendly this sunday at the arena, then will go cheer em on and clap R.B home at the end Quote
no balls Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Ah, sorry, I thought Lee Lane and COR weren't on the route. I don't live on either Quote
Traf Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I don't live on either  Are you being deliberately obtuse?  They aren't on the route and are a short walk from your home, are they not? Quote
no balls Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Are you being deliberately obtuse? Â They aren't on the route and are a short walk from your home, are they not? No more than you're being a smart arse. If you can get me a parking spot on Lee Lane the Saturday evening before the event then fair play. Quote
Traf Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 No more than you're being a smart arse. If you can get me a parking spot on Lee Lane the Saturday evening before the event then fair play. Â If you think I'm attempting to be smart, you've misunderstood me. Quote
Zico Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 a smart arse would've said "there's no such thing as short walk for NB" Quote
