Danny G just text  He recons it's all too convenient this   Saying its been planted there to throw everyone off the scent   He's got evidence of a 3 way cover up between the US, Euro millions &am

  • All joking aside   There's something on those voice recordings they don't want the public to know.   It's simple - if the cockpit window has gone and they've decompressed they'd know already.

If it's a suicide he's upped his game from Clarke Carlisle's attempt. Bloody grim.

At a stroke one of the world's worst mass murderers. What a cunt. I hope they throw away the key.

Throw away the key? Got to find them first

It's saying he deliberately locked the co-pilot out.

And switched a button off to allow the plane to decend

The poor bastards

Apparently there was only screaming at the end, which makes me hope they only realised in the final seconds.  It's just too horrible to bear the thought that they'd know and have 8 minutes of panic.

If the pilot has just flown the poor bastards into the ground, they won't say straight away.

Not one for conspiracies, but this is extremely odd.

It appears your hunch was correct.

Fuck me.

If I didnt already doubt humanity. I sure as fuck do now.

Nope, Christian

Kick the fuckers out

Something similar happened in Korea a few years ago, pilot went for a slash and the copilot put the plane into a nosedive straight into the drink.

Absolutely horrid. It is one thing to come to terms with your relatives being in a plane crash because of an unpreventable failure or in air problem.

But even harder when you know it was just because some absolute nutjob decided he wanted to kill himself and everyone else on board.

Awful. Really frightening thing is, if there are people who want to do this sort of thing, there is very little that anyone can do to prevent it.

Find his fucking family and do sommat to them, they must've knew...

Anti-terrorism measures cause 148 deaths in one foul swoop...

That said we don't know how many potential disasters/atrocities have been averted by the secure control deck, so a stupid point to make, I suppose.

You'd think they'd have some dual control failsafe in case of one pilot being suicidal or a terrorist sleeper or under some form of coercion or duress.

They used to have two people act as 'activators' in nuclear missile silos and the like, just in case one operator went doolally or rogue.

Co-pilot was younger than Wayne Rooney and had less than 700 hours flying experience.

Hopefully it is true that the passengers didn't know much about it until near the end.

Rumour has it one fella knocked one off and splattered his duff on the trolley dollys, that's what you get with

www.germanflings.cum

I got an Easy Jet flight from Manchester last September and as I climbed the stairs in could see the pilot eating sandwiches which had been wrapped in tin foil. You know then you are in old skool safe hands, he was probably called Roger or Geoffrey.

I've not heard any Christian groups coming out and condemning his actions yet. Send them all back.

I don't see your point here Malcolm. All pilots start of with no hours flying time. Whether he'd got 7000, 700, 70 of 7 hours experience he was still trained to fly a bloody big jet.

As has been said though, all the security in the world won't stop someone who wants to go out with a degree of infamy.

Anyway, I'm in the departure lounge at Cork waiting for my flight home. I hope it's piloted by Paddy O'Perfectionist rather than Sean O'Suicidal-Fecker.

If, however, I end up in the Oirish Sea split mine and MrsD's Season tickets between you all.

Was saying on the news 700 hours isn't very much for the time he'd been in the job so must be a reason why it was so low, along with the fact he had a six month break during his training

Just seen it. That want made clear when MW first posted.

tbf i don't think that was his point

as you say, you've got to start somewhere

turns out they think he was depressed hence his slow progress

which brings us round to the mental illness debate again

you can't help but think, if true, "what a cunt"

guess we need to wait and see

but there's not many outcomes where I'm not going to think "what a cunt"
