Danny G just text  He recons it's all too convenient this   Saying its been planted there to throw everyone off the scent   He's got evidence of a 3 way cover up between the US, Euro millions &am

  • All joking aside   There's something on those voice recordings they don't want the public to know.   It's simple - if the cockpit window has gone and they've decompressed they'd know already.

I'd be too busy evacuating my bowels to leave anyone a message telling them where the inheritance was stored.

I'd be too busy evacuating the drinks trolley.

To stick the phone up, right?

Just watched the C4 documentary on last weeks crash. Lufthansa are gonna be paying out big time as its come out he told them of his depression issues upon resuming his flight training.

I'm not sure how it's going to pan out but the fact he's hidden his issues more recently by hiding on the day sick notes means I doubt it will be as bad as letting a known basket case fly the plane.

Anyway, so long as it isn't Allianz...

I think it is Allianz.

Edit: It is, and they have set aside 300M Euro already.

The plane that crashed in the Hudson river..

Quite a few left messages on that one as they had just under four minutes from the point they realised..

Airwings had eight.. Horrible to think that you had that long knowing you were going to die..

Tragic news about the A400M today. Hope it is nothing too serious as it could destroy the UK aviation manufacturing industry

Did they know though?

If they did I reckon a few blokes would have managed somehow to smash that door open in 4 or 5 minutes.

Kevlar armoured doors, not a chance of getting in there in 8 minutes.

Apparently they'd have stood a better chance if they'd smashed open a window, shimmied around and gone into the cockpit through the windscreen! That's what Bruce Willis would've done.

or, as the nose was obviously pointed towards the ground, get everybody else on board to run to the back of the plane to make it tilt back up, whilst doing this a Bruce Willis type character could have lifted up one of the carpet tiles and crawled throiugh the floor space into the cock pit, over powered the pilot and brought the plane to a nice safe landing in a field.

As they probably knew sommat, find his family and do sommat bad and unusually cruel to them, or send them back in time - to Nazi Austria where they belong...

(I may have already wrote something along these lines already in this thread).

You can add Forest Gump, Mork and George W Bush to that list.

I know these incidents are few and far between, but I think it would be an idea to pump sleeping gas in the cabin in situations like this.

or just open door and get out

or just open door and get out

If you managed to open a cabin door in flight, you wouldn't just be getting out, you and anyone not strapped in would be sucked out!

It would also induce hypoxia on everyone without oxygen, so youd probably be doing them a favour.

Only if you're First Class. A parting hand-job maybe in economy.

All the cabin doors open inwards, and the air cabin pressure would be keeping them shut.....you'd probably have more luck beating down the door to the cockpit
