Wanky flag? Men and women have fought and died under that flag, what's happened under the flag of St George in living memory, a few patio chairs and glasses launched across squares and a dozen or so s

Well fuck mop

I taped the Question Time special and just flicked it on. Of the four panellists, one is a fucking Greenist and another is George fucking Galloway. This is a serious issue and they've got retards and freaks like this on.

Can you and BD not read, I've already given answers to the points you raise such as a Labour Party free England. It's becoming tiresome having to repeat myself.

As for conjecture, we could have a dozen responses to the round here, my mate says, my family thinks they should all fuck off. Both sides of this adecdotal evidence is both meaningless in terms of gauging what people believe and it terms of the election as we don't have a vote.

I hope that's clear enough.

Bolty, returning to the homeland? You do know it's 2014 and not 1952, don't you? You might not like us now we've changed.

As I have been back precisely over 30 times, I don't think the shock would be too much (other than the climate!). Maybe 2 hours away on the Costa Del Sol is the perfect compromise?

1952? Well before I was born and, even worse, before the Mod era. No thanks - they all dressed like their grandads and wore sandals etc.. Just like you.

Come on Alex - campaign hard son.

What about the Gurkhas?

Should they all live here too?

defiantly 100% they fight for the English army they should be treated the same as an Englishman

I think the Costa Del Sol sounds perfect for you.

I think perhaps you mean British army?

It's comments like yours which annoy Scots.

You don't know it like I know it matey.  The sophisticated Spanish part - not lager lout territory.

Well he's doing a good job then!

No good can come from a yes vote IMO

no Malcolm I ment English I don't like using the b word

Here's a thought. Anyone know the answer?

If the Yes is 51%, I assume that's it, they're off.

If the No is 51%, I assume they're not.

Though if it's that close & the No scrapes through, I'm guessing that won't be the last we hear on the matter, I'm guessing in x years down the line, they'll be wanting another vote.

Now, if the Yes scrapes through with 51%, I'm guessing the separation goes through, billions & billions is spent putting the break through. Then, with it being such a close run thing, some other Jock decides they want the Union back & want another vote, then what?

Has any of this scenario been considered by anyone?

Shouldn't there be a minimum of say 60-65% majority needed to give a decision one way or the other?

I don't think this has been thought through properly, or maybe I'm missing something!

The Frenchies in Quebec campaigned for independence from Canada for a couple of decades and a referendum was held in 1995. The status quo won by 50.6% to 49.4%.

After a legal campaign lasting for over a decade the winning No campaign was deemed to have exceeding the legal limit for campaign costs, but no further referendum has been (or seems likely to be) held. They realised that stepping back from the brink was sensible.

If Scotland also steps back there will be more change, such as giving much greater control on spending of taxes. Scotland can then elect the Labour government they are pining for, only to find that they cannot deliver. But the ramifications for the rest of the UK, including England, will be considerable.

I reckon it will get rejected and in a few years the SRA will start chucking bombs about.

Whoever taught you spanish was very polite

Have you ever had tximitxurri? Its bloody awful...and Argentinian!

Any road, this scotcher vote is being watched very closely in Spain, The Spanish PM is said to be planning to block Scotland's entry into the EU,  He is trying to hold off moves for another vote for Catalan independance, there was a march through Barcelona yesterday, where over a million and a half people took to the street to demand the vote for Independance there. Barcelona are playing in their away kit in sunday's home game (the colours of the catalan flag), something they have never done before.

Deep Fried ones obviously

I think we are all better pissing in the same pot but a part of me would like to see them drift out into the Norwegian sea. Dynamite running across the scottish border would do it.

Spoke to a jock today, apparently they don't pay for health service or prescriptions, car parking or roads that were toll roads ie Firth of Forth bridge, what's all that about?

I know it's Argie, I wanted NIC to start googling. Had it in Coin, Alhaurin and Orange Square in Marbella. Love it with a good steak. Different strokes and all that.

You are right. My mother is very polite!

I would think the Basques/ETA etc. will be watching this referendum with interest too.

They choose to spend our money differently

Not his biggest fan, but great speech from Cameron

And why on earth would I google something you write? There are better ways to waste one's time.

Or Latin American, they do that "usted" thing all the time.

Now that "Devo max" or "Devo more" has been promised, did we just lose or win as everything is up for grabs after Thursday?

Two top speeches from Cameron in the same week. Don,t think the majority of jocks realise the implications of voting yes.

Must admit that was quite stirring stuff from DC!
