Wanky flag? Men and women have fought and died under that flag, what's happened under the flag of St George in living memory, a few patio chairs and glasses launched across squares and a dozen or so s

What about all their GB Olympians??

Would Chris Hoy be stripped of his knighthood?

Would all other jocks with honours lose theirs??

What effect would it have on all the English going watching Scottish football which seems very popular?

As they all have British passports they can compete for GB IMO. Plus you only have to live here for a bit anyway.

The way our Great British Pound is strengthening today suggests the No vote is winning.

I'll find out on Saturday...

you bite every time, don't you

i'm sure its the only fun aussies get

Ahhh he's fishing......or is he...or I couldn't care less.

My mate has just voted.

He's from Newcastle. WTF?

Why WTF? Anyone who lives in Scotland has a vote.

Rockstar North is based in Edinburgh.

No lead by 6 points in the latest and last poll.

It's fucking nonsense, the poll is that tight that it could well be swung by the non-Scotch living there.

Why is that an issue? If you live there and pay tax there and vote locally there why is that an issue?

Clearly it is an issue if the vote is that tight that it could be swung by the non-Scotch. I'm pretty sure they'll get some of the blame in the aftermath.

Look forward to seeing Murray handing in his OBE and heading back North, always knew he was a sweaty.

If this thing goes Yes, then thats it, I am boycotting porridge, shortbread, deep fried mars bars, heroin, buckfast, susan boyle records, tartan skirts and ginger wigs,  for the forseeable future.

Not really, they have a right to vote, just becasue its not their country of birth; and with it being so tight clearly a lot of people not born in Scotland are voting Yes.

According to Wikipedo, in 2012 88% of people in Scotland were Scotch, so I have no idea how you assertain that #madeupfact.

Me Too!!!!

erm probably not the porridge, haggis and Buckfast though..... but aint the latter made by monks in Devon?

And heroin comes from the Raygun groomers.

More that i am boycotting the national dish

if they do go, will they stop showing scottish football / results / tables / coverage on BBC and SKY?

will English folk still cheer Murray on at Wimbledon?

these are the important questions no one seems to be asking

OK, I'm taking on the Malcomator here:

From Elections Scotland, via the BBC Mobile App:

"Recounts will only be allowed at a local level on the basis of concerns about process, not the closeness of the result."

Yes, but conventionally only a narrow loser seeks a recount.

On this occasion a 'winning' side might believe that they would have won by more if an error has been detected.

Less than 75% of the electorates' votes are expected to be declared by 5am (and any recounts can only reduce that) so there is no chance of a definite result being announced by then.

But if you wish to sit up watching sets of politicians droning on, feel free to do so.

Of course exit polls may give a big pointer, but with the amount of intimidation alleged some voters may decline to comment - or may even lie - to a pollster. And plenty overwound folk may spoil their ballot paper.

What on earth are you on about? I take it you don't work with much data analysis do you? If all the non born scots were voting yes it'd be closer - the % of those born in another country have no bearing on this #imnotsurewhatimtalkingaboutyetagain

And also, whilst you are wrongly reading figs, it would also work against your argument above regarding your misplaced shock and horror about non born scottish residents voting.

Fecking hell.

Shetland Islands have said that if it goes 'Yes' and they voted 'No', they be looking at the possibilities of independence and take all their oil with them.

Which would be highly amusing.

They already have a fortune under their oil savings. They're a wise lot up there.

I haven't got a fucking clue what you are on about, so I'm going to leave it there.

Are they still putting lead in grease paint?

Funny that because that's what i generally assume about you. The trouble is you are dangerous in that you actually think you know something.

I think it is best you leave it there and go back to a safe topic you actually know something about.

Welcome aboard

Cmon Scotland the brave you can do it

That’s what Norway did, and what the Scots don't seem to get is that they will only get the tax from the oil, Scotland only as one firm that is Scottish and owns any platforms and I think that’s 3 out of 570 that are in the North sea, all the rest are owned by a Foreign country so no extra tax from then then same goes for the whiskey I think 80% owned by someone else
