Cahill and Eidur definitely went on to better things but it was always obvious they would. Anelka came in with the knowledge he was using us to get back on the radar and move to a big club. Time will tell on Sordell whether he goes on to better things. Ricketts career from even before his move to boro is a tale of a promising career gone to shite. Any recall clause requiring the early termination of a Standard Loan can only be included in a full Season Standard Loan and this can only be activated during the second (January) Transfer Window.
