Islamic State

Why are we not bombing the fuck out of this lot with the yanks? I can understand why the Commons voted against not to get involved with the Syria thing. But this is different. If anyone needs blasting to fuck it's these cunts.

Great article by Col Tim Collins in the Sunday Telegraph

Another posh newspaper. WW, home to the intellectual illuminati :)

Ha ha, yes. Not posher just more capitalist :)

Anyhow, they've closed a shit load of mosques down in Tunisia as allegedly they're preaching all sorts of terrorist type shit. Bit late really but better than never.

Fair play - that's probably not an easy thing to do politically in a Muslim country.

Did you see the video of that builder who was cobbing roof tiles and hit one of the shooters?

Also waiting for the Honourable MP for Islamabad South, Ms Qureshi to whine that she shouldn't have to apologise for the atrocities (again) in the Bolton News.

why should she need to apologise?

why should she need to apologise?

Maggie felt the need to apologise for Liverpool fans killing Italians. It's what the politicians do innit

why should she need to apologise?

You're right, she shouldn't need to defend herself against the terrorists but then again she shouldn't be defending the rights of those who preach it, which, every time she speaks at the same conferences as them, she is.

I'll bet there's actually copies of 'Take a Break' (Nb) and 'Razzle' (BD) tucked away in the folds of those high follutin' journals, and it's those that's really being read (or leered at)...

I don't understand why they have to apologise. I've not felt compelled to apologise for the white racist nutter who shot people in America. The muslims seem to be the ones who are suffering the most and doing most of the fighting against ISIS as well. ISIS is evil but let's not band everyone in together as ironically that's exactly what they want us to do.

Meanwhile in sunny Egypt everyone is calm and the locals can't seem to give me enough brandy beer chasers. Seriously though the guys I speak to here said most were glad when the military stopped in and toppled the muslim party government a couple of years ago as their policy on tourism such as strict dress codes, alcohol etc would have crippled the much needed tourism industry.

I am also impressed and reassured by the numerous well armed army checkpoints around the tourist areas here. It might not stop a madman but at least they seem to have recognised the threat unlike Tunisia.

Good point GW, ISIS are killing thousands upon thousands of men women and children across Syria and Iraq, the vast majority of whom are Muslim.

It's a fucked up world.

Egypt had a bomb in Naama Bay about 10 years ago (killed 50+?) so they know the cost

There's a belting article about it in the Sunday Sport today.

Matthew James; hero. Hope he's OK

Aye, Roofers and Chucka Tile are making a tribute song.

Joking aside, it really is a fucked up world, how the hell can anyone stop pricks and scum like ISIS from being brainwashed like they are ?

Falling Down film could well be replicated by folk who've had enough.

I think he's back home now G, real hero in my eyes.

3 gun shot wounds, since had a heart attack.

The truth is nobody is safe. None of us. That's not dramatic scare mongering either.

I've got 3 pals,2 of whom work in Kuwait and the other Isreal. All work for companies that work directly for the US Army.

They tell me although no imminent state of war has been declared, they are gearing up for it big style. Food stocks and Artilerry being sent to camps across the Middle East have rocketed in the past year. There's a shit load of tanks been sent to base camps worth $3 million a piece.

I don't think they are planning spring break.

Makes me think if this jade helm malarkey has something to do with it all.

Poor bloke, I didn't know he's had a heart attack since.

For me it's not the apology for whatever barbaric act these nutjobs have carried out it's an apology (or recognition) that there is a disproportionate amount of people who think it's acceptable to chop people's heads off in the name of religion.

By contrast you won't find many people praising the act of a white racist who's blown the brains out of a dozen innocent black folk. It's universally condemned and rightly so.

You also won't get a politician saying "well he's been upset since these darkies got out of the chains so I'm not going to apologise for him as our society hasn't included his values or beliefs".

I'd say the acts ISIS carry out are pretty much universally condemned in the Muslim world. Like I said there's loads fighting them which is a pretty strong message. I agree though that they come out with lines like they are terrorists, this has nothing to do with Islam. It's a bit like when lads get arrested for football hooliganism and the press say these are not football fans.. yet when you look they've not missed a game in years. Is it not better to isolate ISIS from the Muslim world though rather then give them some credibility in their eyes? If you're talking about sharia law and Saudi Arabia my apologies they're proper nut jobs.

I think that ISIS have killed thousands more Muslims than they have anyone else

Sunny, Shia and all that shite hate each other more than tgey hate the west

I'm sure the Muslim world condems the acts of these nutters more than we do. It's just we don't really nock about with them or watch Al Jazeera news so we will never know will we

Why not watch it - it's available.

Why not watch it - it's available.

Indeed. The oldies have it on a fair bit as do I when I'm in the middle/Far East.

Mainly whities presenting though.

I can't understand why there hasn't been a world wide Islamic condemnation of Isis if it's dragging the name of Islam through the gutter. Why don't we see protest marches by Muslims to marginalise Isis.

Dunno why we don't see them barring social media coverage but they do happen.

As one muslamic i saw quoted said 'They attacked a Mosque during Ramadan, tell me how they represent Islam again?'
