  • I think nailing one of my bollocks to the garage door will slightly edge it for things to do on a Tuesday night.

Or maybe we could get behind the team for 90mins and keep the bed sheets and protesting for after the games.   It just might help you never know.

  • Beckford to start up front on his own on Saturday. Nailed on.

Fucking hell how nerve wracking was that last few mins.

Plus points tonight

Dervite...looks a good un. Dont forget he is wondering where Moxey is half the time.

Craig Davies...maximum effort tonight. Went round to all thr supporters after full time.

Joe Mason... hatrick hero..but the two he missed though were probabky easier chances !!

Decent contributions fro Mark Davies and Lee and Feeney.

Still think there is a lack of balance through the whole team .. and Ream at right back just doesnt work.

Dougie lives to fight another day!

FUCKING LOVE IT

that was the only thing craig davis did  all night , apart from being offside

Yep ok..

Hey, but if him being on the field and playing shit means Mason gets goals, I'll take it.

Undefeated in two!

Beat me to it.

All runs have to start somewhere, don't they. Don't give a shit about disallowed goals, posts being hit, etc etc.

We fucking Won, three points in bag, take it Wolves now and see what happens.

Ill take scrappy odd goal wins all day long. Wins breed wins FACT

Great game that

That Dervite was very impressive ????

Can hardly say he played shit, that's the most aggressive performance from a Bolton forward since we had KD, thing Meldrew had his cap over his eyes

Honestly I've not seen the game so I can't comment on how he played, but I was just saying that if he did play "shit", then I can accept it if he's opening the defence for the other striker to get a hattrick.

For those who didn't go,we started 4-3-1-2 that's didn't work for 1 hour then feeney and LCY came on to danns and Pratley both of the subs changed the game thought feeney was excellent, fast, direct and decent end product.

Well said. Great second half. Loved it

Yep ok..

go on then..

Is Moxey not fit yet, on a few occasions he was just jogging back like he didn't give a shit. At one point he must have had a 50 yard start on Chungy running back and got left for dead.

We really needed that tonight, thank fuck we stood up to be counted and got the win we needed.

go on then..

Go on what?

Fair play tonight. Shit first half, but whatever failings he might be making tactically, his players ran through brick walls for him that second half.

He lives to fight another day. Let's hope these are green shoots.

PS - if you sat there before the game tonight hoping we'd lose to hasten DF's departure then you're part of the problem.

Great to enjoy the win deserved it their first goal was never a free kick we could easily have scored 6 mason missed 2 guilt edged chances and if feeney crosses it davies taps in an empty net thought Dervite played well Moxey did a lot better anyone giving Craig davies jip wants their head feeling worked his bollox off and won corner for 2nd goal and badgered there defence all night and created some good openings only real downside was woeful defending for their 2nd not sure who was at fault but fooking shite - but signs tonight if that team can get on a role some how they've got some bottle and togetherness to do something and create chances but I fear changing the bastard team every week will bollox it - Craig davies and joe mason well just as likely a ings and vokes this time last season I'm probably going OTT but it feels good to have won a game and actually enjoyed the match

Go on what?

davis was not involved in any of the goals, was off side most of the game.

it is about opinions, and in mine , i thought he was poor.

Just back.

Craig Davies made the difference for me. He made room for Mason and did his dirty work.

Looked like a proper partnership for bits of that second half.

Good game, even better result. Still look soft as shit at the back and distribution throughout is shocking.

Onwards and upwards...hope this kick starts our season, confidence breeds confidence.

Keep them two up top and we won't go far wrong IMO.

Word for Chungy as well. Excellent when he came on.

Fair enough but i dont think many will be in agreement.

He was a nuisance all night. Did the dirty work that made space for others. Held it up brought team mates into play. Offside? Cant say i noticed more than any other striker on the pitch.

Utter garbage yea he got caught offside from a couple of long balls he should have watched the line but he worked his bollox off and much of his hold up play was effective and it was him chasing a list cause that won us the corner for masons 2nd - he's not Diego Costa but he deserves some credit tonight for fucks sake

Think Craig Davies is a player you like or hate for me he does an important job gives physicality to the team that we need as we don't have it without him, alright he's no world beater but big physical CF are part of the fabric of BWFC as are good wingers, that's how we have always been at our best and tonight was a perfect example. Long live 442.

Extremely fortunate to win......

It was very poor the most part and we made the relegation favourites at the start of the season look good. and definitely worth a point.

Well lets put it this way, have we played as well this season and lost?

No.

If Rotherham could defend set pieces they would have won.

Yes when they were chasing the game it could have been 4 or 5, but only then.

I predicted 4 from the last 2 home games and that's the very least we needed to keep the incompetent one in a job.

Shame really, for the long term well being of the club, if less points would have ensured his departure.

nailed it

lost the dressing room my arse

i think it was mills that threw himself in the way of one late on

yes, theres problems, but get mcnaughton on and one of them is solved

dont get this moxey knocking, lad did fine

if mason can miss 3 and get a hat trick, we're doing something right

bad defending costs us the first goal from a very dubious free kick

their second looks offside at the time

got lucky with theres that hit the post

better team won

and best still, the match thread idiots gave me something to smile about for once - cretins
