  • I think nailing one of my bollocks to the garage door will slightly edge it for things to do on a Tuesday night.

Or maybe we could get behind the team for 90mins and keep the bed sheets and protesting for after the games.   It just might help you never know.

  • Beckford to start up front on his own on Saturday. Nailed on.

Just relieved to see us get 3 points, honestly thought it we had literally forgotten how to hold a lead and win a game when it went 2-2. Thought Mills' clearance from the free kick was similar to Neo in the Matrix 2. Different side after bringing Chungy and Feeney, whom playing on the right looks more balanced as he does not own a left foot, and Chungy gave us more balance/support on't left. Big difference was when Ream (no right foot) and Moxey were allowed to pass half way line and put pressure on there back 4, which although at times defensively it looked like Dervite/Mills vs the world, I rather see that and us create more than one chance a game. Cannot wait for last half hour to put teams under the pump though and I fear a 27 minute performance only against a decent Wolves side will lead to only one thing. Just nice to go into work and not have the same "yep we were shit again" and "well Im not arsed how crap we are, you obviously don't get it do you."Keeping the faith (slightly, and not so much in Douglas.)

In other news I was in the free pie row woohoo the night that just kept on giving!

chicken balti?

That's better, I can see what you're saying now

Not much above about Mark Davies and Spearing. How did they get on as a pair?

Both didn't shine for the first hour once danns was subbed he was playing in behind the 2 strikers they improved like the rest of the team, when we played the narrow 4-3-1-2 Rotherham had acres of space down the wings once we went 442 that route was stopped and we got on the front foot, both the wide lads looked decent and Feeney all pace and trickery down the right was complimented by LCY who played a more reserved controlled football on the other wing.

He'll be tinkering right now seeing how he can change the team.

Let's hope mason gets the confidence boost needed.

The amount of shots taken was encouraging.. Clearly been looking at the stats although most were easy saves

If Bobic was our last hat trick scorer, who was the one before??

...and if there was 13,680 on last night ill platt fog.

I just hope to fuck the gloom can now lift, Douglas can go mental and stick to a formula that works, and we get back into Europe within 3 seasons.

Fucking love it when we win. Love it.

Turgid first half, the biggest exertion I saw was Steve Evans trying to tuck his shirt in.  We changed we played well and we won.  I get the impression only in desperation does our manager do something different then reverts to type just like last season.  Oh and Ream is starting to look more like Julian Derby every game though you cant fault his effort square peg and all that.  A wins a win.

I can remember Super John getting three hat tricks, Blake got one and I think that fat sweaty open goal misser got one.

Holdsworth at a punt. Cup v scunny?

I know I might sound harsh but Ream looks a square peg in every round hole he plays in, haven't got a clue what position he excels in.

chicken balti?

No meat and potato and it was bang average I wasn't sure if I was allowed to boo it so I just ate it anyway

He's an OK footballer and a real tryer. You'd want him in your team. At this level.

Blake - guessing it must've been the 100 goal season but don't recall?

remember SJM v Spurs, had to check the other 2

kudos to anyone who can name the other 2 without googling like i just did (and still couldn't find owt about Blake)

He's a good club man I give him that, and never complains which is unusual for a modern day footballer I suppose his utility goes against him showing his best form.

Correct.

You win a Bavarian Handbasket.

Before that was Blake v Hartlepool in the league cup.

That was after SJM v Yids in league cup.

Last league hat trick before Bobic anyone??

Gugjohnson?

Correct.

was it McGinlay V either Charlton or Boro?

I'm not buying that, but clearly a lot of the Bolton public do

Last season he was crap for over half of it and got player of the year

This season he's been turned inside out most games no matter what position

Well unless you are very specific when you say "at this level" and mean the nether reaches of the division

was it McGinlay V either Charlton or Boro?

Correct.

You win a Mexican Hot pocket.

Think we should all club together at Xmas and buy the guy that runs BWFC stats a crate of Oranjiboom.

Had to pull our own pints in ESL as the lad didnt have a clue what he was doing

Not harsh. I think he is defensively woeful.

Maybe we can get McNaughton in at right back when he is fit. We definitely need to strengthen at right back and Ream is not the answer. Also think we really miss a physical presence in the middle of midfield a beast in there would stiffen us up no end especially away from home, can we not get Spearing on the growth hormone injections. :)

Could Ream have done a job?
