jeep
The Battle of Turf Moor Oct 8th 1994 Nicky Spooner stretched off. SJM scoring after we didn't give the cunts the ball back from a throw in. Final score 2-2. Time does fly......
no balls
Was just talking about this today with a Dingle. I remembered it due to the date. He said he can laugh now
RoadRunnerFan
My first away game, me and a pal just decided to jump on a bus in Bolton and rock up. Took ages to get there and missed Supa's opener. Well worth the trek though!

davidjack
Always some atmosphere in those games - low roof, big following, coins being dodged etc...
ChippyTea
Remember going that game. Those few years in the mid 90's with Rioch were magical

DaveTheRave
SJM scoring after we didn't give the cunts the ball back from a throw in . Simon Coleman scored didn't he after Super John didn't throw them it back? Or is my memory proper going?
no balls
Always some atmosphere in those games - low roof, big following, coins being dodged etc... I've done a couple of games at the Turf this season & will be doing more I imagine. The atmosphere isn't too bad still but by Jove, the place is an utter dump

I bumped in to Spooner in Albufeira about 3 years after the game. Nice lad - I'm sure he mentioned that Gary Parkinson came to him as he was being taken in the ambulance and told him he'd be alright.. I was pissed at the time so the story may been slightly different.
