I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Less than 20k on at Jackburn.

With 6k nob enders present.

Currently 3-1 to Plymouth 👍🏼

Only caught the last 10 minutes of that half. Cardiff score a quality 2nd out of nowhere, then their centre back elbows the Plymouth forward off the ball - ref hasn’t a clue, speaks to his liner who bottles it and they go for a yellow. It’s an obvious red but not only have they got away with it for this game, I think the yellow means he can’t get a retrospective 3 game ban? Madness from the centre back, there was absolutely no need for it.

February 1983 was the last time that the games of the 4th round of the FA cup all kicked off on Saturday at 3pm.  The competition has been pretty much irrelevant since the turn of the millennium.

Most Prem games don't kick off at 3pm on a Saturday, it doesn't make it irrelevant.

I know the point you're making, and I don't like the loss of tradition any more than you do, but we had some famous FA Cup games (Villa 5th round, Liverpool H and A, Southampton H and A, Arsenal H and A) and none of them were 3pm Saturday.  It still felt worthwhile and memorable and was probably even more so for the novelty of being live on TV.

The FA Cup Q-Fs, S-Fs & Final are far more relevant than who finishes 8th and qualifies for the conference league.  Cups and leagues are only as irrelevant as we make them, some people watch the Thursday night European stuff, I don't even notice the results, completely and utterly irrelevant unless you're playing in it.

The KO thing and live TV was just the very start.  18 or so years later, Man U didn't enter it, the final was played away from Wembley.  Then semi finals played at 6pm on a Saturday or Sunday, teams putting out reserves, penalty shootouts, no replays, Wigan getting to the final.  All rendered it an irrelevance. imo

Plymouth 4-2 up now and the way they’re going after a horrendous start you wouldn’t count them out of the play offs, Cardiff have had loads of possession but Argyle look far the more dangerous.

Time they had their shit spell for the remainder of the season

Trouble is Lincoln would love that result and it would fire them up even more today.

We travel to Plymouth on good Friday, not gonna be easy. In decent enough form

Sheff Weds relegated

Fastest relegation in EFL history

And at Sheff Utd

Ouch

Spurs are terrible

Spurs are awful but that Gabriel dive was something else

Spurs could genuinely go down. They’re awful and have a team full of mentally weak players with a short term manager.

Never ever a free kick

Should have been 2-2

Great day for hearts with both Celtic & Rangers dropping points

On a bad run, not won in the league this year

Need to get something from their home games and a trip to wolves

They’re terrible at home though, it’s no advantage to them whatsoever (10 points from 14 games).

If you look at the form table for the last 5, 10, 15 and 20 games they’re in the bottom 3 and only out on GD for 25 games.

They are in a proper relegation fight and have absolutely nothing going for them.

Rangers drew against bottom of the league who only had 10 men.

Home end foaming at the mouth trying to get at them celebrating Arsenal fans

Pal of mine goes to Spurs and says it's horrendous like that these days - no atmosphere and full of tourists who don't give a shit about the score or result
