I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Unless Wednesday get a good takeover, fairly quickly, with decent money to spend, then their squad is going to be light on experience.

Rangers bottled

Their kids were great against us though.

They did play against 10 men for 70 minutes tbf

Looking at our XI, 3 left permanently since and another 4 on loan.

Cracking game and atmosphere.  Proper fiesty old fashioned game, helped by the lack of quality at times.

Many of whom you would imagine would be snapped up.

If the takeover doesn't happen, they're fucked.

Very soft pen and sending off against Palace at OT 😡

Ridiculous. If it’s a foul it’s outside. I can’t see how they landed it as a pen and a red.

If ref gives a pen for denying goal scoring opportunity is that not just a yellow rather than red under "double jeopardy"

As long as the ref sees it as a legitimate attempt to play the ball he can give a yellow if he thinks he's just taken out the attacker then it's a red.

Defender definitely had a little pull. Utd player maybe made a meal of it.

Soft, yes, but still a foul for me.

Started outside the box, and continued in.

How that equates, in terms of pen or free kick, I don't know. Presumably, where it ends.

I'm willing Forest and West Ham to find a bit of late season form

Just seen it's Blackpool v Wigan on Saturday, both 1 point above the bottom 4.

And to think, we gave Blackpool a point.

Im still fucking fuming about that. We made them look decent and they're fucking awful.

I watched a bit of the Leeds v Man City game.

Leeds fans booing what there was a 1 minute break to allow the Muslim players break their fast.  Lovely bunch.

I'd like to think Bolton fans would never do that,

You'd be wrong.

Strange to stop the whole game because a few players chose not to eat that whole day.

I'd rather keep politics and religion out of football.

No different from keepers going down 'injured' so we can have time outs.

It could lead to all sorts of non related reasons to stop the game. After all its their chose.

It is their choice, yes.

But it shows a bit of humanity to let have a drink of water doesn't it?

What other non-related reasons do you think it could lead to?
