I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

We're going to need some run in now and it's not happening. League 1 here we come.

To be fair, we don’t deserve to get out of it this season and we won’t get out of it, irrespective of Millwall or anyone else. We’re simply not good enough

Agreed. Not a single player (or the manager) in that squad that makes me think we've some sort of spark and ability to get out of it.

We're within the 3 shittest teams in that 24, by miles.

Crowd sounded decent for the pens. Reckon they're a bit sheltered somehow from the crowd.

Commentators just referred to the crowd as deafening, so guess they're a bit muted on TV

Nice to see De Bruyne being replaced by his son

Makes sense- just heard city bag a third and it seemed a decent noise from their fans.

Millwall went with a game plan and stuck to it, plus they all a shift in - something we are incapable of doing.

they are 8 ahead with a game in hand and  I don't believe they weren't going down, even before tonight.

we simply don't deserve to stay up on this seasons form and it is only by the cheer crapness of 3 other teams, we have a faint glimmer of getting out of it.

They had 34 per cent possession and one shot on target

Game plan or good fortune like when we beat derby?

Unfortunately we have been down for along time this manager and the shower of shit on the pitch are incapable of keeping us up.

We had 2 seasons of 'success' based on our rivals having meltdowns and being generally crap. Our luck has to come to an end not only this season but realistically next year too. The opposition in Div 1 next year is likely to be far stronger than in 2016-17, Sheff U apart.

The problem is we’re rubbish at the game plan we are trying to undertake.

I don’t think anyone minds the backs against the wall stuff if we actually carry it off occasionally. We seem to have lost any form of organisation and our defence isn’t capable of withstanding 8 minutes of pressure never mind 90.

Trying the same thing over and over again in the vein hope it’s going to work is madness.

Nail on head, but this is what he does every week. It's why those of us who think he's a decent guy at heart, know that he's fucking useless as a football manager.

In fairness, Derby's first and only shot was in injury time - but Millwall deserved at least a draw

Its still three from four so as bad as we are we still have a chance of escape.

Unlikely but heyho plenty games left.

Harris has them playing with some fight like we had in spells last season

Best we can hope for now is getting to next season with 0 points deduction and under new Ownership and Manager.

Aye starting league 1 with a potential-12 would be horrendous

I reckon QPR & Wigan could still get pulled into it.

the hard bit is we need a couple of unexpected wins sharpish, a bit like the Brum result

They'll all be unexpected here on in

Ah, I need some of this positivity :good:... but it's hard not to feel resigned to relegation because of the way we're playing.

Hope you're right; though considering qpr played us off the park earlier in the season, it highlights how much we've got to do.

What the fuck is going on with Aubameyang’s haircut? It’s like a big hairy quim from the ‘60’s.

Would fans prefer stay up and keep parkinson

or

Relegation and new manager?
