Matt Lofthouse Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Aye not catching them in a hurry. Quote
Farrelli Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 We're going to need some run in now and it's not happening. League 1 here we come. Quote

We’re simply not good enough Agreed. Not a single player (or the manager) in that squad that makes me think we've some sort of spark and ability to get out of it. We're within the 3 shittest teams in that 24, by miles. Quote

DirtySanchez Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Nice to see De Bruyne being replaced by his son Quote

marple whites Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Millwall went with a game plan and stuck to it, plus they all a shift in - something we are incapable of doing. they are 8 ahead with a game in hand and I don't believe they weren't going down, even before tonight. we simply don't deserve to stay up on this seasons form and it is only by the cheer crapness of 3 other teams, we have a faint glimmer of getting out of it. Casino Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 They had 34 per cent possession and one shot on target Game plan or good fortune like when we beat derby? Quote
Rizlar Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Unfortunately we have been down for along time this manager and the shower of shit on the pitch are incapable of keeping us up. Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 We had 2 seasons of 'success' based on our rivals having meltdowns and being generally crap. Our luck has to come to an end not only this season but realistically next year too. The opposition in Div 1 next year is likely to be far stronger than in 2016-17, Sheff U apart. Quote

The problem is we’re rubbish at the game plan we are trying to undertake. I don’t think anyone minds the backs against the wall stuff if we actually carry it off occasionally. We seem to have lost any form of organisation and our defence isn’t capable of withstanding 8 minutes of pressure never mind 90. Trying the same thing over and over again in the vein hope it’s going to work is madness. Quote

It's why those of us who think he's a decent guy at heart, know that he's fucking useless as a football manager. Quote

In fairness, Derby's first and only shot was in injury time - but Millwall deserved at least a draw Quote
Take Hunt Off Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Its still three from four so as bad as we are we still have a chance of escape. Unlikely but heyho plenty games left. Quote

Piemon Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Best we can hope for now is getting to next season with 0 points deduction and under new Ownership and Manager. Quote
radcliffe white Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Aye starting league 1 with a potential-12 would be horrendous Quote
Gonk Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 I reckon QPR & Wigan could still get pulled into it. the hard bit is we need a couple of unexpected wins sharpish, a bit like the Brum result Quote
