I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

That’s rodgers to Leicester then.

lennon back to Celtic?

hope they fall apart now and rangers win the league.

I'd rather anyone but those 2 sets of cunts win the spl.

Lennon confirmed back at Celtic. Not sure it'll be good for his health!

Deserve one another

Bury Vs Portsmouth. Watching them in the Checkertrade Trophy. That mad as cheese Pompey fan with the bell would drive me fucking mental if i was a Portsmouth fan. I get he's a Superfan and a by all accounts a top bloke, but fuck me. That bell is torture.

Looks like buckets arent going to wemberlee

One of those off that embarrassing video at Chelsea a few years back has been pictured in Portsmouth end tonight. Him that still wears festival wristbands from about 2008.

Aye. I've got about a dozen good mates up in the Glasgow area. Really good mates. But absolute and utter fuckwit cunts when it comes to football. Apart from two of them - one's a Motherwell fan and the other Hamilton

I bet he can't believe his luck getting another good gig like that

He may have failed here but I find it hard to hate the guy.

Scottish fitba nonsense aside

Always got me how he can get in all the grounds with an IRON BELL

I know! Ridiculous to think that if he buys a bottle of water in the ground they'll take the top off it before handing it to him!

I don't even understand why cocaine use is grounds for banning a player. It's hardly performance enhancing.

Guess it features on the list of banned substances ergo a ban follows

Wasnt Koulo Toure done for taking his wife's slimming pills and players got having lemsip or something similar?

Alcohol will do a player miles more damage.

That should be on the list too.

I wonder if a Premier League player would get an equal punishment for a similar offence.

4 years does seem pretty excessive. I'm sure any drug use was down to poor lifestyle choices, not trying to gain any advantage.

About 500 pompey looking at TV. Tickets were only £10. Not like the 80s at burnden when a sniff of Wembley saw our crowds at least double and never a suggestion of reduced prices!

Let's not mock Bury's attendance for a semi final chance of Wembley when we couldn't sell out our semi for the league Cup

13k for the Tranmere one :(

Tranmere and villa were embarrassing crowds

Mental how the appetite changed in the matter of 5 or so years.

Swindon you couldn’t move at burnden and it was electric.

5 years later we barely fill half the ground and nobody gives a fuck.

if we drew anyone big in the cup these days we still wouldn't sell out. We were spoiled by 11 years in the Premier League. Our cup exploits under Bruce Rioch were very much a massive club against a massive underdog.

That and the need for a massive payday often means big prices.

How close was Liverpool under lennon to a sell out?
