gonzo Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 That's ace. Someone's in trouble after that! Remember staying for a few beers round Walsall after a game there years ago. Got talking to these two mad fuckers, they told us all about their past battles with wolves and how much they despise them. They knew all about us knocking them out of play off etc. They sang this mad song with loads of verses about a young wolves fan dying. Can't for the life of me remember it but it had a line at the end saying "as he lay on cold wet terrace, blood pouring from his head, his final words..." And the rest I've forgot! Moody as song anyway! Not a patch on ivy mind. Quote
Zico Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Walsall's official Twitter tonight after they won at Wolves. brilliant shame they gave them a retort with "look", but still, v good Quote
Pablo Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I went to Old Trafford last night, work jolly. I booo'd and shouted offside for every United goal. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 (edited) The arsenal turn out is piss poor we took many more than that. Edited September 18, 2013 by Mounts Kipper Quote
Didledee Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 (edited) Class freekick from Messi, he'll smash Raul's record Edited September 18, 2013 by Didledee Quote
Sweep Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 The arsenal turn out is piss poor we took many more than that. To be fair though they do it every year, we don't. If we qualified for about 20 consecutive seasons our away followings would start to dwindle Quote
Traf Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 To be fair though they do it every year, we don't. If we qualified for about 4 consecutive seasons our away followings would start to dwindle Quote

gonzo Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 That ground has changed alot Wonder if they still have that rather welcoming warehouse next to ground just for the away fans? Felt like I was entering a concentration camp when they rounded us up and put us on there. Moody as fuck. Who else got locked in that cage under the ground for ages after the game?? Quote
HomerJay Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I've just read that Celtic outplayed Milan but lost 2-0 I've not seen the game but Really? Quote
L/H White Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Just the 3 goals for him tonight.........incredible. 244 goals in 224 games or summut along those lines, as you said incredible Quote
Traf Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I've just read that Celtic outplayed Milan but lost 2-0 I've not seen the game but Really? Celtic were the better team and if Stokes' free kick not hit the bar, they'd probably have won by 2 or 3. Quote
Casino Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 who is the young celtic striker who scored against barca is he getting a game? Quote
Traf Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 who is the young celtic striker who scored against barca is he getting a game? Tony Watt? He's on loan to Lierse in Belgium. Quote
Rembrandt Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 That ground has changed alot Wonder if they've put some decent toilets & refreshments in for the away fans yet. That new roof looks like they've bought a job lot of stuff from B&Q and tacked it up. Looks odd. Quote
COYW Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 2,500 from Wigan in Belgium for tonight's game apparently. Quote

Traf Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 2,500 from Wigan in Belgium for tonight's game apparently. It's only on the fucking doorstep. We took near enough double to jazza's backyard for our Eurodebut. Quote
