radcliffe white Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Isn't Nolan a moaning cunt all the time in the refs ear Quote
stevieb Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Just had £2 on Bolton 07 at 9/1, Allardyce set piece spesh. Quote
Traf Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I'd backed under 1.5 goals anyway, it was nailed on. Quote
tomski Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Regarding Jussi, Taylor, Nolan etc bar Nolan I wasn't too fussed about any of them going. But Ill hold my hands up and admit every single one of them is better than us now. Whether new surroundings or different training. Something has improved them because they certainly weren't playing for us like that at the end of their Bwfc career's. Quote

DazBob Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Although, all the deals were good business at the time. Indeed. There wasn't a single one of them, IMO, who I saw as a loss at the time. Had they remained there is no way to know if they'd have ever turned their form back round. Just because they've done it elsewhere doesn;t mean they'd have done it here. There are, I'd suggest, plenty more players who've left us and continued to do fuck all elsewhere. Quote
tomski Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Although, all the deals were good business at the time.Completely agree, I wasn't upset about any going as they had gone stale for whatever reason. My point being Id have everyone back which is odd considering I felt they were all spent leaving us. Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Working under a top manager rather than Megson probably helps a couple of them. I was sad when Nolan left, less fussed about the other two though it is odd seeing Jussi not in a bolton kit Quote

jules_darby Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Very watchable game this Both teams good going forward but vulnerable at the back Moses is having a blinder and that Skrtel tackle was world class Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted September 16, 2013 Author Posted September 16, 2013 Jonjo Shelvey is a bit confused tonight as to who he plays for Quote
gonzo Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Haha...he looked bewildered when he came out for second half. He looked like he'd just come out of a club at 6am and didn't have clue where the fuck he was! Quote
jules_darby Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 He'll be better now. Lovely equaliser that. Nice to see teams going for it Quote

Didledee Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 So were Liverpool tonight Dids Though they won't get much credit on here Didn't see the 1st half and start of 2nd, I only saw Swansea dominating and Sturridge getting offside a lot and being frustrated, I only switched on for a sec and Michu made it 2-2, Liverpool have been good this season and a 2-2 draw at Swansea isn't a bad result.
