The other team is Everton. They buy a good player, shoehorns him into a poor side, hope he makes the team good, he fails and his saleability suffers.

They did OK with Lukaku, Barklay, Lescott, Rodwell and Stones, oh and Rooney. Moyes and Martinez understood the concept of selling on good players but were before the big-spending Iranian co-owner.

Everton don't spend as much money as Chelsea.

Everton's record signing is Sigurdsson at £40 million

Chelsea's record signing is Lukaku at £97 mlllion.They also paid over £70 million each for Havertz and Ariizabalaga.They have paid £50 million each for Jorginho and Chilwell. They paid £47 million for Timo Werner.

Everton are underachievimg and should be several places higher in the table but don't spend the cash needed to compete with the oil clubs and United

He wasn’t “clearly offside” he was perhaps a toenail off. Perhaps VAR would’ve gone against it but that says VAR is flawed, not the linesman in this instance.

I'm not watching so can't disagree, but anyone that watched our game at Stockport will think that of our entire team except Santos.  With strikers and creative players, you sign them based on what they can do on their good days, not how they look on bad days (Doyle, Dapo etc).
