We fuck about too much at the back which is obviously not working. Wycombe we should have at least drawn and Morecambe we should have won comfortably- we only get half a game with all this passing around the goalie and it’s not working

I think that that aspect of our game has improved as the season has progressed. Evatt spoke about it too, and we have, at times, become more direct (though not hit it long and hope). More recently we've perhaps dropped off in that regard, but we've been without the new lads whose presence up top will allow us to do that.

We played with one up at times too, and achieved some fine results, which you wouldn't necessarily associate with direct football.

Perhaps overall, we're not quite there yet, certainly in terms of consistency, and I still think there are times when we lack some leadership in the middle of the park.

I'm also sure that Evatt is still learning too.

I'd be disappointed if we didn't now qualify for the play offs, but I think we will.

Beyond that, who knows, but it won't have been a bad season if we're not promoted

BBC should scrap MOTD anyway. Save a fortune in salaries on pundits and commentators.

Anyone can see the goals/highlights on various other platforms easily enough anyway.

pay a few ‘thems’ like Sam Smith to entertain Saturday night audiences instead

Fucked up an east 1 on 1 seconds into second half when been even first half inspired Barnsley with two quality strike.

Let’s see where we are at Easter when the 6 pointers are over for Barnsley and Ipswich

MOTD straight in no messing, even the theme music has gone on strike

Gave me a dilemma tonight.

I fully support Lineler's right to be able have an opinion and I fully agree with all his colleagues backing him up, but tonight's MotD Light was my favourite MotD since we left the PL. Just the action, no waffle and no screeching commentary.

It was blink and you'll miss it! I'd never seen Sully before that they put on instead so that was a decent watch.

Anyway, there was an alternative...

I watched first part of Sully then decided to hit record and finish it today. It only recorded MOTD.
Fuck it, I’ve seen it before and they all survive.

According to BARB overnight, Match of the Day viewing figures of: Last Sat: 2.09 million Last night; 2.58m million Not much of a “solidarity” boycott from viewers.

Not watching a bunch of entitled multi-millionaires mirroring each other & playing like they're in a pub with Micah Richards screaching uncontrollably at absolutely everything certainly gets my vote.
