Brighton fans 'celebrating' their equaliser in Marseille. What shit limbs.

They've done brilliantly as a club but fuckin hell the Premier league doesn't half attract plastic fans.

We have to avoid getting back there at all costs. We're doing a pretty decent job of it too

That's pretty much why I'm not that arsed whether we go up or not. Doesnt really matter whether we are championship or L2 for me.

Pretty sure it matters a lot to our long-term existance.

Of course

Otherwise, whats the point

Absolutely.

Support remains irrespective of league, but if we're not bothered about moving up, then welcome to some sort of Franchise system.

Never play Utd, City etc ever again.

I’ve never wanted to play the rags more in my life well since the build up to 91 anyway

Maybe so - but it doesn't matter a jot to me personally. If we're in the prem, i'll still get a season ticket and turn up to the 4 3pm saturday games we play but retain my seat for Championship.

Having to wait 5 minutes to see if a goal is given - balls to that. Sterile league

Same here on a personal level, but I highly doubt Football Ventures will stick around if we're stuck in League 1 haemorrhaging money for the next 3 years.

VAR is the main reason I have no interest in playing in the prem.

I don't think we're hemorrhaging money are we?

A highly successful bond issue, crowds high and the odd input from "investors".

If we're losing cash after that, then things aren't too rosy.

That said, I don't see fv being around for too long if the team doesn't get to at least the championship soon.

Perhaps "haemorrhaging" was the wrong word. I don't think we're any where near self-sufficient as a business, and investors will want a return at some point.

Yes, of course they will, I agree.

FV certainly won't rest on their laurels.

We have to become at minimum and established championship club, otherwise we play in Micky Mouse tournaments, fail to get to the 3rd Round of FA cup and lose our better players to shit clubs who are in the Championship, there are many smaller clubs than us in the Premier league, Championship and we have to have those leagues as a target... top end championship and ruffle a few prem teams in the cup is my idea of heaven.

I think they have already got an end plan in place now, SB has gone very quiet I think it is playing out in the background as we speak. Would not surprise me if they sold the club in the next 12-18 months.

I don't think we hear to much from Sharon generally. Certainly not with regard to on-pitch performances. She doesn't overtly interfere, which is good.

Charity events etc, she does her bit, and that's great- the Carol concert last Christmas for example.

I'm not sure about a sale so quickly, unless we've gone up. Having the bond to pay out on, any newcomer would perhaps want the higher payments for championship football.

One of the things I appreciate most about Sharon / FV is that we only hear from them when absolutely necessary

A professional, business approach

I can't stand it when clubs owners constantly stick their oar in publicly
